Unique opportunity to rent a stone apartment in a traditional Cypriot Village. Apartment is self catering consisting of bedroom with double and single bed and large lounge/diner with double bed settee. Both rooms have spectacular views over the valleys and mountains, Satellite TV with BBC and ITV. The house is set in a large garden with private swimming pool and is fully equipped with all bedding and towels (apart from beach towels). Washing facilities available. This is ideal for people who want to see a little of the traditional Cyprus yet still be close enough to Paphos tourist areas and beaches if required. Coral Bay Beach is only 15 mins away and the Nightlife and archaeological sites of Kato Paphos are a similar distance. Self catering kitchen equipped with cooker fridge and all utensils is provided if you just want to sit on the private patio and look at the stunning views. Tsada golf club is only ten minutes away. Situated on E4 hiking route.

A Cypriot haven

Our accommodation was just off the main road from Paphos to Polis, a hire car is pretty much a necessity with Paphos about 15 minutes away and the airport just beyond.
We were situated in a beautiful, traditional village which had awesome, panoramic views from our terrace.
The house was perfect for our needs and Mick and phyl have transformed what was a wasteland and derelict building into a truly Cypriot idyll.
We were looking forward to a quiet, relaxing holiday and we weren’t disappointed, the private swimming pool and terrace area was such a wonderful, stress-free environment where we lazed in privacy in the guaranteed sunshine.
The local shop is literally on the doorstep, providing a wide range of goods and there are a couple of café/bars nearby where you can experience the local meze in the company of the welcoming villagers.
For us Mick and Phyl struck an ideal balance, they were welcoming and very helpful however also appreciating our desire for a quiet retreat.
This holiday has provided us with our perfect haven where we have already recommended it to friends and family and will definitely be returning!

The Perfect Retreat!!

I have just returned from the most amazing holiday, staying here at this wonderful cottage. Mick and Phyl (owners) have done an incredible job of converting this tradional stone house into a luxurious retreat, with private swimming pool and a view we never got tired of gazing at!
The house itself is very clean and comfortable, with a great shower and air conditioning. The kitchen has everything you need for a great self catering holiday. The private pool is just perfect and can be lit up after dark for a poolside BBQ. The village is very traditional and the only sounds to be heard during the evening are crickets, goats and chickens!
You do need to hire a car, but we got a great deal from CY Breeze car hire in Paphos.
Paphos town is very humid, but the village has a lovely breeze, day and night.
Be sure to visit Polis and have a meal by the sea at Latchi.
The owners Mick and Phyl are so friendly, treated us like family and gave us lots of useful local information and help when we needed it.
I would recommend this cottage for couples and small groups of friends, but not really large families as you are quite far away from things for children to do.
I will be booking my next holiday here as soon as I can!

A piece of the real Cyprus!

The property is easy to find just off the main road from Paphos to Polis and in a superb loaction to explore the West side of Cyprus, Sitauated in a traditonal village with specatcular views from the accomodation over the valleys. Its a relatively short drive to reach Paphos and about 25 minutes to reach the airport. We were warmly welcomed by Mick & Phyl who have renovated what was an overgrown garden and ruined property into a superb place to stay for a very enjoyable holiday. It is great for a relaxed and peaceful base from which to discover what Cyprus has to offer. The private swimming pool means there is no competition for sun beds in the morning which is a wonderful change from the hotels and apartments we have stayed in previously. We had everything we needed in the house and there is a well stocked village shop just across the road as well a couple of places where locals sit outside enjoying a drink and meze and a catch up on the days goings on. If you have images of donkeys and goats in winding village lanes and the crowing cockerel at dawn then this is where you will find it. We had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend it. Im sure we'll be back.
