1 and 2 bedroom apts with lots of charm and comfort. Not only are these beautifully renovated apts 20 minutes’ drive from the jewel of San Gimignano, they are also within 1hr of both Florence and Siena and 5mns from the more authentic town of Certaldo with its many shops and trains. The main house with tower houses 5 apts (one of which of the owners),a smaller detached barn houses 2 apartments (Quercino and Leccino apts). Immersed in the magical atmosphere of the Tuscan hills, is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, fields of sunflowers, cherry trees, walnut trees and woods. On return from a day out, you can relax with a swim in the pool, enjoying the nature and the peace of the estate. The pool is set in middle of a large and well-kept lawn.All apats have an outdoor area for alfresco dining, there is or a covered patio (loggiato apt) or an outdoor area with ombrella. The area has a great choice of restaurants with a pizzeria and a top quality trattoria within 5mns drive.

CAMINETTO 65 sqm ( 2+1 pers. ) This large apartment is on the ground floor located in the main house facing the pool: Access to the open-plan living-dining room with arches, large fireplace (cannot be used) and long wooden table (10 people can be seated) and sofa bed (for one person), 1 small kitchen with oven and dishwasher, 1 double bedroom, 1 shower room. This apartment can be suitable for guests for walking difficulties as is on ground floor and there is onle a couple of steps to access to toilet with a standard shower box. The apartment has an outdoor area with with table and chairs facing the pool.

Not only are these beautifully renovated apartments 15 minutes’ drive from the jewel of San Gimignano, they are also within an hour of both Florence and Siena. Closer are some lesser-known treasures, like the nearby hill town of Certaldo, with its many artisan shops and pedestrian streets popular for locals' evening stroll. Certalco becomes even livelier in July with its medieval pageant, the Mercantia, and its area offers many concerts and art exhibitions. You can also catch a train from here to Florence or Siena. In the other direction lie unsung Gambassi Terme,San Vivaldo, with its 13th century chapels, and Montaione, whose pedestrianised old centre is packed with shops and restaurants. Within 20mns drive there is a great Spa centre, La Fornace and a Golf Court Castelfalfi. This area is ideal to explore by car and also on foot as there are lots of pathways even from Caselsa doorstep.

A satellite TV, kitchenette equipped with 4 hobs and small worktop, oven/grill (Caminetto has a full oven), electric filter coffee machine, fridge with small freezer, hair dryer, fans for the bedrooms, screens in the windows. Four apartments are equipped with dishwasher. Laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities for communal use (payable locally), a built in BBQ, drive with electronic entrance gate, parking with shadow roof, garden, outdoor area for each apartment and panoramic pool. Caminetto apt is roomy and ideal also for 3 guests.. It has a pretty terrace facing the pool with a table and 4 chairs.Previous guests feedback was great and is usually the most sought after apt. For wheelchair users providing they can walk some steps to access the toilet which has a standard shower box.
