For further HQ photos and video, see website (search Google for 'Villa Maphraaw')_______ Villa Maphráaw was built and furnished in late 2007 to a very high standard, with 320sqm of internal floor space (650sqm total) and a 32sqm private infinity-edged pool. This villa is overlooked by no other!! Rarely will you find a villa which has 5 en-suite bedrooms!!! In addition, it boasts amazingly low rental rates, with the aim of maximum exposure. The first floor comprises an open planned living room area featuring high beamed ceilings, a balcony, 4 leather sofas, TV room, modern spacious European kitchen (with all the amenities) and separate dining area. 5 spacious ensuite bedrooms spanning over 2 floors; 2 of which have double sinks and baths. Bedrooms 1 and 2 provide king-sized beds. Both of these principal bedrooms have large French-windows that open directly on to the pool terrace.     • The balance of total rental amount is due a minimum of 4 weeks before the check in date.
    • Payments are to be made via a bank transfer to our nominated bank account or alternatively via Pay Pal.
    • Smoking within the villa is not permitted
  • Cancellation Conditions:
    • To avoid speculative reservation, we apply the following cancellation conditions:
    • Cancellation prior to arrival: It is a condition of the booking that the entire party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance which will provide compensation to you in the event of cancellation.
    • In the event that you cancel the booking or shorten the period of stay after payment of the deposit and/or balance, no refund will be made. The booking deposit is not returnable under any circumstances.

We had a great 10 day stay at Villa Maphraaw. The villa itself is absolutely gorgeous (the photos don't do it justice!) – spacious and modern and set in a wonderfully tranquil and peaceful setting. It’s the perfect location for completely chilling out and enjoying the stunning views. Although there were 10 of us adults in total, we didn’t feel at all crowded and even all managed to fit in the pool at the same time (although we did have to take turns for the sun loungers, as there were only 4 at the time!). Stuart was incredibly helpful, organising airport pick-ups for us, car hire, a boat trip and a Thai chef for a couple of special meals (very tasty and good value!). Although a car is not absolutely essential (the taxis are very reliable), we found it useful for picking up supplies from the supermarket!

I would highly recommend Villa Maphraaw to anyone wanting a really special holiday!

Beautiful villa with a stunning view!

Villa Maphraaw was an awesome experience for 10 guys from Finland. Spectacular views, 5 star accommendation and our great villa manager Stuart made our stay at Samui unforgettable!
Although the pool broke down, Stuart was doing everything to fix it and when our car broke down on the other side of the island, Stuart got us a new vehicle in just 2 hours.
Villa is at least as beautiful as in the pictures and the location is nice and peaceful. Just be prepared that you have to rent a car or scooter to get to places because the villa is very high on the hillside.

Gorgeous house with stunning view

We picked this villa because of the stunning pictures on several websites including the villa’s own page (browse for Villa Maphraaw) and we have not been disappointed. The villa is a beauty and located in an villa community high up on a mountain overlooking what we called the ‘Jungle’. The view was spectacular. The villa is very spacious with an enormous living area, great kitchen and home theater tv room (which we only used a couple of times). The decoration of the villa is of great taste in our opinion. Ensure to have some kind of transportation because you don’t want to climb the mountain with your groceries. The living area on the top floor was sometimes a bit too hot since it was lacking air-conditioning however there were additional fans supplied. The pool is nice and definitely not too small once you dive in and wow what a view! Oh and by the way the house comes with special protection of the house cats that live outside the house, but not to worry they don't come in.

Best holiday ever!!

I have been bringing my family to Samui for a number of years now and have tried a wide range of accommodation on various beaches, including some top hotels such as Santiburi and the Imperial. However after our recent holiday I can honestly say that this trip was easily the best so far - largely thanks to Villa Maphraaw!! In the 12 years we have been coming here I had no idea that it was possible to rent a 5 bedroom villa for the same price as one mediocre hotel room. Amazing!!

I really cannot say enough good things about this trip. Everything was perfect from the booking to the airport pick-up to arriving at the villa. There is a fairly steep five minute drive up to the house but it is well worth it. The views are exceptional, the house spotlessly clean, exceptionally well looked after and decorated with no expense spared. It was equipped with everything we needed from Satellite TV and Internet to a gas BBQ and fully equipped kitchen. We were even able to hire a chef for next to nothing.

I would highly recommend Villa Maphraaw and my family and I look forward to being there again same time next year.

Extremely well maintained & beautifully furnished

Villa Maphraaw surpassed all our expectations - pictures simply don't do it justice! The villa offers high quality accommodation, a stunning swimming pool and breathtaking views over Northern Samui and Koh. Nested high in the hills amongst coconut trees, the villa is private and extremely peaceful - the only sounds often being the constant chatter of the crickets and animals. Maphraaw has all the facilities and mod cons you could ask for, including BBQ, large DVD range and quiet, effective air conditioning in the bedrooms. The villa is homely and spacious and can easily accommodate 10 adults (as it suggests) without feeling you're living on top of each other.
Stuart, the Villa Guest Manager, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable giving us great recommendations for local restaurants, taxis, supermarkets and attractions providing a truly personal, yet uninstrusive service. This holiday will stay long in our memories and we can't wait to go back next year!
