3 bedroom luxury wooden lodges in a pine wood. With fabulous rural views over orange groves to the mountains beyond towards the town of Xativa. Just sit back in this rural retreat or visit local towns and villages, an opportunity to find the real Spain. Use the pool with outside kitchen, bar and pool towels. We are here and in the summer can arrange barbecues and offer a menu for evening meals. The lodges are within walking distance to the village llocnou d'en fenolet for shops and bars. Xativa is a short drive away with historic castle and old town, with great restaurants, shops and nightclubs for all tastes. There are good walking and hiking paths and guided walks are available or use our mountain bikes to explore. Beaches are 35mins away and are blue flag and uncrowded even in season. Valencia city is a 40min train journey away and a must for a day trip. We have been here 4 years and are still discovering the area and can give advice to make your stay a perfect holiday.

The nearest town is Xativá, which is 5km away with its imposing castle and history guided historic tours are available to make the most of this wonderful town. A rural retreat a short drive from the costas and Valencia.Xativa is a traditional Spanish town, eating out is remarkably good value with a 3 course menu del dia from € 7.50 - this includes wine! We are close to Valencia City, with the Americas cup port, aquarium,fantastic architecture and shopping. New in August 2008 the Gran Prix. Visit the village of Bocairent built on the side of hill, with Moorish caves. Go to the rock pools at Pou clar where the water is cold even in the heat of August. There are local vineyards in where tasting is free!. Enjoy the fiestas in March the Fallas in Valencia or Xativa for amazing bonfires. Enjoy Walking, Hiking and Rock climbing guides are available, Horse riding and Golf are also a drive away. Come and find the Real Spain. Stay here and enjoy Valencia, the Costa Blanca and Costa Azahar.

Notes: There is a Bar area next to the pool with Kitchen and barbeque We have central heating for winter stays, the daytime temperature in the winter can be as high as 20 degrees but our guests are always happy to come back to a cosy lodge in the evenings. We have English satellite TV with BBC, ITV,film and children's channels - there is no need to miss your soaps! We also have Spanish TV. Evening meals are available delivered to your lodge. You can access the internet by prior arrangement at a small cost.

Fiestas: Spain is a country of fiestas and celebrations. The traditions in Valencia region are the Fallas on 15th to 19th March when huge papier mache figures are built and burnt on the final night days of parades and partying precedes the burning. Also there are Moors and Christians celebrations the nearest in our local village of Barxeta in July but these take place throughout Valencia and celebrate the expulsion of the moors in the middle ages. Lots of parades and fireworks! In Xativa the Feira in the 3rd week of August, this is a large market which has been taking place in Xativa snce the 12th century. we have hundreds of stalls selling local products with musical performances and fireworks every night for 10 days. Also in August the famous ´tomatina´´which is in Bunol west of Valencia where the highlight is the pelting of the fiesta goers with tomatoes, a small local version takes place here in September with grapes in Pobla d´el Duc.

Local Knowledge: We have been here for 4 years now and are still discovering the area. We are always available for advice on days out or restaurants to visit.

The house on the hill menu: We have a menu available for evening meals. 2 courses both home made with bread and salad delivered to your lodge or to by the pool. Children's meals are also available.

Golf: Golf is available within driving distance at Oliva Nova, El Soler and the new course at Picassent. These courses are within an hours drive.
