Tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quietens down in winter. The wonderful sandy beaches of the Algarve are unspoilt and amongst the best in the world. Explore the majestic Sierra de Monchique or the rugged beauty of the western tip of the Algarve. Water sports such as swimming, snorkeling and big game fishing are popular along this coast when exploring the caves and grottoes. Water parks and theme parks are also on hand for the children.

Alvor is beautiful and from Alvor it was also very easy to visit other nearby beaches and towns. The location of the apartment was very convenient not only for walking to the beach and restaurants but also for picking up groceries. The apartment was lovely and had plenty of space for our young child to run around. The washing machine proved very useful! We received an excellent and friendly service during our stay.

Myself and a friend have just returned from a week in 'John's apartment' in Alvor and we would certainly recommend it to our friends and family. It was our first time in Portugal and so we were very reliant on the website searches. This apartment came up during our search and seemed to meet all our needs and was within our price range so we took a gamble. It paid off! The description of the apartment is totally accurate and it is exactly as the pics show. It was really well equipped, bright, spacious and spotless right down to the blankets on the beds. The pool was a decent size and the complex was modern, quiet and superbly located. We spent a number of days on the most beautiful beaches, all within easy walking distance (300mts). Equally your pick of fab seafood restaurants were no more then a ten minute stroll away. Overall this apartment had everything for us and we were also impressed with Peter's friendliness. We didn't have to worry about a thing...Thanks!

A very spacious, well equipped and clean apartment perfectly placed within a few minutes walk of both beach and Alvor town which has an abundance of good, reasonably priced restaurants. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, miles and miles of golden sand. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and can't wait to return next year.
Recommended for:  People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway, Age 55+
