EATING OUT There are so many good places to eat out. Roasts meats are a specialty of the region, and because of its proximity to a number of commercial fishing ports on the Adriatic fish restaurants are also in abundance serving the most wonderful fish dishes (grilled, fried, baked, risotto, pasta) and is renowned for its Brodetto. Good places for pasta and pizza are to be found everywhere so you can eat superbly within the range of your pocket and all in easy reach! There are about a dozen restaurants within a 15 minute drive.
You can eat truffles in most restaurants in this province because Acqualagne is the truffle centre of Italy. There is a Truffle Festival in Oct/Nov every year when many Italian and International gourmets attend this important gastronomic event. And please don't miss the International Brodetto & Fish Soup festival 12 Sep to 12 Oct.
