Casa Rosa 25th July-1st August 09

Amanda 09 London
Review Submitted: August 10, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
This property is located in a stunning setting and is extremely peaceful - the photos really do not do it justice. The veranda is perfect for meals and for chilling out while watching the sunset. The house itself is cosy, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly, helpful and willing to provide any information needed. Although we only stayed for a week, we found the locals extremely patient with our limited Italian.

We had a lovely week, and would whole-heartedly recommend this property.

Stunning property and location!

Cawthorne Manchester
Review Submitted: September 10, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
Having just returned from our second stay at Casa Rosa in two years, and having already booked to return next year our family would highly recommend the property to anyone looking escape urban life and wanting to experience the beauty of Le Marches.

The property is set amongst stunning scenery and countryside and often the only noises you will hear during the day will be the occasional tractor as rural life continues around you and the wildlife at dawn and sunset which is a joy. The property’s position utilises these assets perfectly, and with a fantastic terrace and pool area, sun bathing and dining outside is always accompanied by a sensational back drop. This really is a location you can relax and escape the daily chores of life at home.

Despite being in such a secluded location the nearest town is only 10 minutes drive away making it easy to shop for daily provisions or join the locals for a coffee and pastry. If its sand and parasols you are after, then the beachfront at Fano is about 20 minutes drive from the property and is also where you will find a wealth of restaurants serving freshly caught fish from the local fishing fleet. Alternatively if you prefer scenery and landscapes then any drive out from the property will always deliver.

There are a number of great restaurants within easy reach of the property so eating out is easy and convenient, however with such great local ingredients and wine on offer our preference has more often than not been to eat on the terrace and watch the sunset and the shooting stars follow. Always a unique experience!

The description of the property is accurate and on both our visits has always been very clean and kept to a high standard. The owners and housekeeper have always assisted with any questions during our stay, and have always provided plenty of information to ensure our stay has been thoroughly enjoyed. Our family are delighted to be returning next year as Casa Rosa has set a high standard which I am sure other properties would struggle to meet.

The final thought I would leave with any prospective renter would be the view from the bedroom window as you open the shutters in the morning as the sun is rising and the mist is spilling over the mountain opposite…. A truly magical way to rise in the morning and experience the beauty of this region!

We look forward to reading your experiences in the guest book when we return!

This is a beautiful, tranquil retreat. The thought and care invested by the owners in ensuring that our stay was perfect was incredible. Our family ranged in age from 22 to 7 and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is very comfortable, well equipped, clean and scrupulously maintained. It is excellently situated and you can choose to be as busy as you please (breathtaking drives and fascinating places to vist within easy reach - Urbino, Gubbio, Fano, Rimini - or simply relax and enjoy all the many delights of the local area. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and indeed have already done so!
