Our properties’ (Newly built in 2007) to rent are in a small complex with a shared 35m² (1.6m deep) swimming pool with sun loungers, shower, tables and chairs. All the properties have fully air conditioned bedrooms and living rooms. They all come complete with cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and solar hot water.
For your entertainment all the properties have a TV, DVD player, English Speaking Channel Satellite T.V and mini Hi-fi. For your convenience all have ceiling fans in the bedrooms, iron with ironing board, toaster, kettle and microwave.
The Area:
Here in Western Crete we have four two bedroom, two bathroom town house villa’s that comfortably sleep four, for rent long or short term. All the properties have the use of a communal swimming pool. All of the properties have views over the Soúda Bay, The White Mountains, the Akrotírí peninsular, the village of Kokkino Chorio and the Mediterranean Sea. They are just a two-minute walk from the centre of the village of Kokkino Chorio, which is on a gentle hillside overlooking Soúda Bay, with its local mini-market and taverna. Kokkino Chorio even has a very secluded small beach.The village of Kokkino Chorio (or translated, 'Red Village') is famous for the main set for the film with Anthony Quinn, 'Zorba the Greek'. Kokkino Chorio was also featured in a T.V programme “How to pay off your mortgage in a year” when two villas where built on the hillside. They can be seen form our villas. There is a Hand made Glass factory in the village. It is one of the few glass recycling sites in Greece
In Kambia is the property featured in the Channel Four/Discovery Channel program 'A Place In Greece'.
Kokkino Chorio is just a few minutes drive from the villages of Plaká which offers a good selection of eating choices with over ten taverna’s/café’s and two popular mini markets and a petrol station. The sea front village of Almirida, with its clean shallow 'Blue Flag' sandy beaches, Car Hire, Shops, Internet access, Hairdresser, Bars, mini-markets, Wine Bar and Taverner's is under a 10 minute drive away. Almirida also offers wind surfing, sailing lessons and boat trips. The larger town of Kalives is under a ten-minute drive away. The local main city of Chania is approximately a 35 minute drive away. The International Airport of Chania is only a 40 minute drive away. Car hire is also available at the airport.
