Kaminia Villas is located amongst the foothills and tranquil olive grove area of Lithakia on the Ionian Sea island of Zakynthos, Greece. It is within 12km of Zakynthos town and 10km from the airport. The local beach, Kaminia, is a secluded yet easily accessible beach with calm waters and panoramic views of Laganas Bay and the “turtle island” Marathonisi. The local village Lithakia with its historical church and its friendly and family-owned traditional tavernas, bakery & mini-market is 1.5km away. With its extensive unspoilt surrounds, these private villas are ideal for guests looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. There are three villas, two of which are available for rental use throughout the year. The owner stays in one of the three villas and acts as host to meet, greet and assist guests with their requests during their stay. There is also a swimming pool [9m by 5m] for guests to use during the Summer months.

Each of the villas is decorated with comfortable furniture and modern appliances (including air-conditioning, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dish-washer, TV with DVD player). For each villa, there are two first-floor bedrooms, each room with twin-beds and an extra pull-out bed and there is also a sofa-bed in the open-plan living area on the ground floor. There is a first-floor bathroom and a ground floor shower/wash room. Each villa has a front North-facing first-floor balcony and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. The indoor area of each villa is approx 100 sq.m plus spacious front and rear verandas. Each year, organic extra-virgin olive oil is produced from the olives picked from the garden and it is provided for free to guests during their stay. In addition, there is a fruit & vegetable section in the garden with seasonal pickings for guests. A private boat is also available for hire for excursions to the nearby island Marathonisi, Keri Caves and the Lagana Bay areas.

    Please note :- Minimum booking is for 1 week and a 10% discount is applicable for bookings for 2 villas together for the same period.

    Bookings are confirmed once a 40% deposit has been accepted and the balance is payable 8 weeks before the booking starts. Payments can be made in UK Pounds [to a UK bank account] or in euros [to a Greek bank account]. Account details will be provided during booking.

    A breakage/security deposit of 300 euros is applicable for each villa booking - repaid at the end of the stay, subject to any breakages.

We are a family of 4 and our children are 17 and 15. We stayed in one of the villas whilst our friends stayed in the other villa with their children of 19 and 16. The description and pictures of the villas do not do them justice. The villas are modern, well maintained and well equipped. They are very clean and the air conditioning is very welcome. The surrounding gardens are lovely and the pool area was kept very clean. Sai the owner was excellent. He gave us information on places to visit and restaurants. We went on one of his boat trips which was lovely. We would recommend these villas to any friends or family and hope to return ourselves one day. A fantastic holiday was had by all.

We stayed here for two weeks in August with our two daughters aged 19 and 16 and our friends who have similar aged children. It is a perfect holiday location for getting away from it all and relaxing without being too far away from local amenities and the beach. The villa itself was very well-equipped and clean - I have never slept so well on holiday! Sai, the owner could not do enough for us and was always on hand for help and advice. I must recommend his boat - trip to Turtle Island. The gardens are very well - kept and the perfect place for relaxing; we spent many an evening sitting with a drink into the early hours. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit Zante and we hope to return ourselves one day.

My husband and I, our three children (ages 14, 9 and 6), and my 80 year old father stayed in Villa 2. The photos of the location on the web site do not give it credit - it is a little oasis of peace and beauty! We all loved the immaculate pool and pleasing gardens. The air-conditioning in the villa was very welcome as were the tasteful insect screens/doors - we were mozzie-free all week! The villa was clean, modern and comfortable. Sai, our host, was polite, welcoming and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.

Kaminia Villas is set in a beautiful location surrounded by olive groves, and yet is only a few minutes drive from a wonderful bakery, quiet local beach and a little further on, the the local village for post office, pharmacy and taverna. It is also well positioned for exploring much of the island by car.

We would heartily recommend a holiday there and we would love to return again.

Something for everyone

We returned from Zakynthos on 23rd August having had a lovely week at Villa Kaminia. The villa is perfect for a family of 4 in search of an extremely comfortable base from which to tour the island or just stay around the pool relaxing in the private gardens which surround the villas. The villa is perfectly situated in easy driving access to beaches, shops and a number of tavernas.

Sai, the owner, is a really lovely man who is keen for everyone to enjoy their stay at the villa and on the island. His "local" knowlege is excellent and his hospitality (including the olive oil) was much appreciated and very welcome.

The villa itself is extremely well equipped with dishwasher, 2 bathrooms and very welcome air conditioning.

We would definitely recommend a stay at this villa and would love to return should we find ourselves in Zakynthos again.

What a wonderful place to stay for your holiday-It was absolutely perfect—the gardens to the swimming pool to the beautiful villa we just could not fault it, it is private and secluded, but only a 10 minute drive to shops and beaches. The villa was immaculately kept with all mod. Cons. and everything you would need for your stay and what a fantastic guy Sai is, so helpful and knowledgeable about the island, he will point you in the right direction for anything you need or want to see. We had a great trip out on his boat to go around the caves and Turtle Island , and we snorkeled with wild Turtles from a beach recommended by Sai.
All in all Brilliant, you would be hard pushed to better it, will love to go again.
