Situated in a lovely, secret corner of Montmartre, our apartment is a beautiful and welcoming home. Located on the first floor of a 19th centry classic Parisian building, the apartment is a haven of quiet and light. You enter into a lovely, intimate foyer where you can have a candlelight dinner and feel yourselves living in the Belle Epoque. The spacious bedroom has a queen bed and lovely antique furnishings, including a beautiful marble fireplace. The living room has a comfortable double sofabed and offers a gracious setting to receive guests or simply relax after a busy day exploring Paris. With high 9-foot ceilings and full floor to ceiling windows in the living and bedrooms, the rooms are light and sunny. The kitchen is a special feature of our apartment. It is designed with an elegant sense of space and is perfect to cook a Parisian dinner. The bathroom is upscale, with teak finishings and a full walk-in shower. The apartment is fully furnished for short or long stays.

Our apartment is located on the western slope of the 'Butte' of Montmartre close to the park, Square Carpeaux. It is close to all of the buzz and activity of Montmartre, but a little away from the incessant tramp of tourists that characterizes Sacre Coeur or Abbesses. Square Carpeaux is a charming small park with nearby neighborhood bistros, boulangeries and other traditional small businesses of the true Parisian 'quartier.' Its close proximity to the shopping streets of Damremont and Lepic are a great plus--justly famous for the quality of their provisioners, cheese,wine, pastries, meat and fish and fruits and vegetables--all of the ingredients for an inspired meal! Public transportation is excellent--there is a bus line 3 minutes from the apartment and nearby metros direct to Opera, the Louvre and the Left Bank. The major rail stations, Gare St. Lazare and Gare du Nord are easily accessible. Security is excellent. Children are welcome. The building is small and owner-occupied
