Recently acquired 3 Bedroom Cottage in Normandy Basse

This property has recently changed hands and has been re-decorated to raise the standards to a new level. The cottage is within 1.5KM of a typical French Village, housing the usual and traditional Boulangerie, Patisserie and of course a popular bar & restaurant. The cottage is well equipped with 2 double bedrooms, and a third twin room. The kitchen has the usual accessories, cooker with an oven, micro wave, kettle toaster etc. There is an outside play area for children and it is also within easy walking distance of a well stock Carp pool. The area is ideal for the recreational cyclist and also for those who like a little bit more of a challenge. Storage areas are available for bikes.

The Gite is placed centrally in Normandy Basse, Close to the Medieval town of Domfront. To the south is Mayenne situated on the river with a wonderful Notre Dame style Cathederal, and a little further a field are Le Mans & the Loire Valley. To the north East is Bagnoles-de-L'Orne with its Lake and Casino it is very similar in style to Montreux. It nestles on the edge of Swiss Normandy where there are endless trails etc. In the North is Caen and the Normandy Beaches, additionally you will find here Bayeux famous for it's tapestry. To the West is Mont St Michel the name it's self captures the imagination and is a site to beholden.
