Private, spacious, comfortable villa on quiet small development with beautiful views of the mountains bordering the Almanzora Valley. Patio doors from the master bedroom and lounge open onto the sunny, south facing patio area with sunbeds around the private and secluded 9 x 5m walk in swimming pool. A large, cool, shady area of veranda provided under a substantial porch is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy long, leisurely meals overlooking the pool. Restaurants and bars, shops, bakery, newspapers, bank and petrol station are only a short 5 minute drive away whereas the long sandy beautiful beaches of Costa Almeria are only 25 minutes away. The villa is fully equipped to sleep 6 in 3 good sized bedrooms with linen and bath towels provided, although pool or beach towels are not provided. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and full size 4 ring hob and oven. The master bedroom has its own en suite shower room and in addition there is a large family bathroom.

The beautiful beaches of the Costa Almeria, including Mojacar, Garrucha, Vera, Villaricos and San Juan de los Terreros are all within easy reach, no more than a short drive away, as are many other secluded coves and expansive sandy beaches. The old towns of Huercal Overa and Albox, 10 minutes drive, provide all the local amenities you may need, with large supermarkets and all sorts of shops and narrow streets to explore. Local villages are Zurgena and La Alfoquia. The ancient and unusual cave houses of Cuevas De Almanzora are also nearby, as is the rowing lake from the 2006 Mediterranean Games. For golfers, the nearby courses of Desert Springs, Valle Del Este, Cortijo Grande and Mojacar Playa provide a variety of different tests of ability in settings from coastal to hilly, but all provide beautiful views of the surrounding area and coastline. In Vera there is even a bullring, where at some times of the year traditional bull fights still take place and a museum is open to the public.

Can't fault it

This vill is very clean and well kitted, both inside and out. In fact just about every conceivable item you could need is already provided.
Shops, bars restaurants etc were all easily found 10 minutes drive away.
There was even a local guy who delivered bread and pastries right to your door 3 - 4 times a week.
During our stay, many of the nearby properties were empty which meant there was very little noise day or night.
Most importantly of all, the owners were extremely helpful and cooperative at all times.

Great Family Holiday with 3 kids under 5yrs

We can't actually go to many places without one of our children escaping but we have finally found somewhere great that they couldn't escape from! Very clean, spacious villa, great pool, beautifully clean and minimum chlorine so you can hardly detect the smell which is so refreshing. Our children were in the pool the whole time but there is always shade available outside which was great, a lovely breeze across the whole pool area in the afternoons. Lots of places to visit, beaches brilliantly equipped for prams and small children (wooden walkways pretty much down to the sea and amazing showers everywhere at both ends of the walkways). Vicky and Geoff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We will be going back, thoroughly recommend this lovely villa .

Excellent Spainish Holiday-a villa to enjoy again!

The villa could not be faulted - very spacious, comfortable & clean. It contains everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Air-con a real bonus!
Outside area - again spacious, beautiful view to enjoy when relaxing, totally private with an exeptional pool. Good selection of outdoor furniture.
Out and About - some really nice places to explore, all within easy reach by car. We enjoyed the area, beaches, coast road, shops, markets and restaurants. Information file at the villa contains details and good directions.
Service from the owners, Vicky & Geoff and their manager Nicola was extremely good. We really appreciated all their help before and during our stay. Vicky is a delightful person, who is always there to provide useful information to make your stay the best possible.

Overall - excellent value for money. We will return to this villa and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Fantastic Villa

We have had the most wonderful holiday staying in this beautiful villa, which was extremely comfortable, clean and spacious and provided us with every home comfort possible! Our kids especially loved the pool which was a really good size, very clean and well maintained. The mountain + orchard views are lovely and we really enjoyed exploring the local area, villages, beaches, coastal roads, markets and restaurants, which gave you a real feel of the unspoilt, traditional Spanish life. Vicky and Geoff were extremely helpful and informative and we would definitely recommend this property and will be coming back again soon.

Relaxing Holiday

We have just returned from a relaxing week, Vicky was very helpful and accomodating to us throughout the whole booking process. The villa is very spacious and bright. Everything was spotlessly clean with plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, glasses etc. You definately need a car as you would not be able to walk to the shops as they are a little way away. Thank you Vicky for letting us stay later and make the most of our last day in the villa.
