Trulli in Puglia with 5metre X 4metre pool, 2 double bedrooms. The villa is in a tranquil setting 3 km from Castellana Grotte and 7 km from Alberobello Capital of the land of the Trulli. The Adriatic coast is 15 kms away where there are many sandy beaches and other attractions including Safari Park/funfair, panoramic views and the caves at Castellana Grotte. The accommodation is comfortably furnished with all mod cons , fitted kitchen and show room TV, DVD, CD player. There are 2 bedrooms, Lounge, Kitchen, Bathroom and dining area inside and out. 2 x Patios outside 1 front and 1 by the pool area, both outside Patios are suitable as eating areas. Excellent Classic Italian restaurant within easy walking distance. Many satisfied customers with recommendations from the guest book available on request..

Additional information about rental rates

  • Above prices do not include Christmas or Easter weeks as these are a spectacular times in Italy with scenes etc well worth seeing. A security deposit of £200 is required, this will be returned at the end of the rental period. Discounts of up to 10% before 28th February 2009 are available for early bookings. There is a heating surcharge of 75 euro's per week if the use of the heating system is required although there are other forms of heating available free of charge. A security deposit of £200 maybe required.

  • The bathroom is a modern wetroom type in design with shower, WC, washbasin and bidet. Hot water is from a combination boiler and so is a constant source of hot water.

  • The property has 2 double bedrooms, bedroom 1= 4mtrsx4mtrs bedroom 2= 3mtrs x3mtrs with large designer tubular framed beds in each one, there is also a wardrobe in each bedroom and normal bedroom funiture ie chest of drawers, The larger bedroom also has a coffee table and an additional small TV/ DVD Player. The bedrooms and Lounge have the original stonework and conical ceilings as per the outside of the Trullicones. The windows are larger than those usually found in a Trullihouse which was part of our design when planning the refurbishment, realising that northern europeans seem to require more natural sunlight than Southern Europeans. All windows in the property have insect net protection as do the front and back door.

House Cleaning: The price is inclusive of two full house cleans one at the beginning and one at the end of your rental period. Extra cleaning can be arranged but will be charged for.

Swimming Pool Cleaning: The price is inclusive of regular swimming pool cleaning, twice weekly. One of last years customers was a swimming coach and had a high opinion of the Pool. His e.mail will be dispatched with your booking form should you request it.

Beautiful Trulli surrounded by trees.

Early 40's married couple with 2 young teenage boys.
The photos of the Trulli don't do it justice at all, it's so much nicer. The owner Peter has photos of the Trulli around the house as it was origionally, it's great to see the transformation. And what a wonderful experience to stay in a house like this.
The pool is fantastic and an absolute god-send to the property. It's a welcome relief out of the sun. Most our holiday was spent in the pool. Peter came to clean the pool twice a week.
Car an absolute necessity.
Penny Market supermarket not far away in the local village.
Large local market in the town on a Saturday...get there early to park.
The owner Peter is very helpful and the welcome pack was greatfully received as we arrived in the evening....wine, bread,butter,cheese,eggs and water, plenty to keep you going until you get to the shops.
Many of the beaches nearby were mainly rocky, but Italians do like that. There were a few small sandy beaches but tended to get quite crowdy. Of course as in most of Italy you can get on any beach if your willing to pay for the sunbed hire.
Plenty of linen and towels to use at the property.
Music system and DVD player was great for the boys.
The only thing we were disappointed with was that the property wasnt cleaned before we arrived. It was explained that the cleaner hadnt turned up.
All in all a wonderful holiday and fantastic house....but we love Italy especially the South and Puglia, having lived in Milan for a number of years.
Yes we would return....for us without the boys so it would be even more romantic.

I did in fact clean the house myself and thought that I did a reasonable job, maybe it needed a womans touch but it definately was not dirty.
