Il Tufo delle Tre Querce is an ancient farmhouse, of our family property which has recently been restructured. It finds on the slope of a hill, middle way between Poggibonsi and San Gimignano, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards which maintain the peculiarity of the rural Tuscan landscape. From here is possible to reach Siena and Florence in 30minutes by car. The farmhouse is composed of five apartments, each one with fully equipped satellite TV, radiator heating, kitchen, refrigerator, American coffee-pot and dishwasher. Suitable furniture with some antique pieces. Beds for babies on request and safe box. All the apartments are walk-in and have private outdoor space where our guests will enjoy relaxing moments At complete disposal of our guests are a barbecue, a swimming pool( 7X14 cm) with solarium and sunbeds, private parking area and a wash machine space.

This is the biggest apartment ( ideal for families or groups ) Downstairs find three rooms: entrance with living room, sofa and big fireplace, kitchen and dining area ,double room with bath shower. Upstairs find two double rooms with bathroom and a big arcade from where the guests can enjoy a fantastic view.

It is possible to attend wine-and-food itineraries, visit the most famous Tuscan cellars where to do wine tasting on reservation. From here through a suggestive walk within the countryside our guests can reach San Gimigano on foot in 1 hour.

Our Perfect Tuscan Holiday

We stayed in the Adriana apt. with another couple from May 23 - 30th, 2009. The listing for the property was accurate and we were very pleased. The grounds were well maintained and the manager Nicollio was very helpful. A great location to explore Tuscany - we spent evenings in San Gimingano after all the tourists left. An excellent restarant on the way there was the PODE - very good. A rental car is a must - but check with Nicollio about having one delivered to the property. We really enjoyed Colle Val D'Elsa - Castellini in Chianti, Monteriggioni, Sienna and so on. We took a train into Florence and spent a day - book the attractions before you go, or you'll never get into the Uffizi or Academia. The Pitti Palace was extraordinary - well worth it. Make sure to see David and Hercules - copies at Piazza della Signoria. The hop-on-Hop-off busses are a great way to get an overview of Florence. We also took a train to Pisa - it is a good walk to get to the Leaning Tower, Duomo and Bapistrey. We explored a lot of the area around Il Tufo and thought it was a great central location. The pool was a great gathering place to meet the other guests. An improvement could be made on the barbeque and some tools would be nice. We cooked quite a few meals in our apartment - especially breakfasts. The temps were in the mid 30's when we were there, and we found refuge in the pool after a full day of sightseeing. Don't always dismiss the Tourista Menus at restaurats - they can sometimes be a good deal. Take time to go off the beat and track to really explore this wonderful part of Tuscany. The views from our second story balcony were incredible at night - even saw fireworks off in the distance. I have already reccommended this property to friends and would go back in a heartbeat.

Just spent a week at Il Tufo. Great location and close to most of the best hill towns. Niccolo was a pleasure to deal with. I will be staying here on our next trip to Tuscany!

Ravis de notre séjour au Tufo delle 3 Querce situé à mi chemin entre Florence et Sienne, près de San Geminiano.
Appartement bien équipé, literie et salles de bain quasi neuves, mobilier de style maison de campagne.
Extérieurs très agréables, barbecue possible, piscine bordée d'un jardin d'oliviers, jolie terrasse, vue sur la campagne environnante.
Accueil chaleureux et discret.
Un seul bémol : route d'accès non asphaltée sur 1 km
