Golf: There are five exquisite golf courses in Barbados. Royal West Morelands wich is a members only club, Sandy Lane Golf course within the Sandy Lane Hotel grounds, Rockley Golf club, Barbados Golf club and Almond Beach Village. Fierce, Fabulous, and Fun Divas Getaway 2009

We really enjoyed our vacation. We stayed here for our annual girls getaway trip in June 2009 and It consisted of 9 women from across the USA. We were all very pleased with the home. We come together once a year every year just to relax, catch up, and have a good time. This is one place that we all agree that we will return to one day. The pictures that are on the site definitely didn't capture the true beauty and contemporary elegance of the home. The views were breath taking and we felt very secure which is important for a group of women. The only compliant we had was that the Jacuzzi was not working it would not get hot and that we had to take cold showers Mrs. Donna said that something was wrong with the solar panels because there are solar hot water heaters there. Donna, Shontelle, and Majorie were wonderful they made us feel at home. Breakfast was wonderful! They exceeded our expectations they were pleasant, accommodating, kind, and resourceful they were a big part of why our trip was so wonderful. I did get to meet the House Manager on the last day and she was very pleasant also. If you want to see the country please rent a car so that you can get around because the cab fare will get a bit expensive. The people are very friendly in barbados so that made it even more inviting. It can be a bit confusing driving but as long as you stay to the left, give way, and follow the road all the time you will be just fine :-)

The trip was super! The house was amazing (the photos of Cuba are really special as well as some of the other art) and it was in the best location.

As I said on the phone if I was pressed to find fault it would have to be with the fact that there is no air conditioning in the main living area of the house and the fourth bedroom with the pullout downstairs should really be listed as a small TV room/study. And as I suspected the gorgeous marble floor on the patio is ultra slippery when wet.

We used the club restaurant a lot - Sassafras. great burgers!!!!

Some of the things to do are - basically eat, drink, sun and swim to your hearts content!!!!

Oistins fish fry on Friday night..go early evening.

Horse racing at Garrison Savannah (Saturday is the main day)

We toured a sugar factory by the house called portvale? I think. The main harvest is going on right now.

The Cliff is a great restaurant (very pricey) but so worth it! You can even just go for drinks. I also loved the beach house - very miami, the tides was also amazing - and the fish pot for breakfast or lunch.

Get to the East coast which is beautiful and quite wild - Bathsheba.... really don't go in the water anywhere on that coast though.
Also if you're moving around it might be worth looking at the kiteboarding in Silverrock on the south. I liked it as a bit of a surfy hangout.
