This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is situated only a few minutes walk from the Mar Menor in the small quiet village of Los Urritias in Estrella de Mar. This self catering rental has separate kitchen with fridge freezer, washing machine and oven with hob and grill. It is fully air conditioned and has an attractive tiled patio at front and rear of the property and upstairs sun terrace. Also satellite TV in lounge. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance, one new restaurant has opened just across the road from this property. The Beach Club (for use by residents and guests) has a swimming pool (new June 2006), tennis courts and table tennis. There are a number of golf courses within easy reach and plenty of water sports.

The Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon usually 5 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean, it is the ideal location for water sports and very safe for swimming especially for children. The village has a marina and a market on Thursday mornings. A 5 km drive takes you to Los Alcazares which is an old fishing town with excellent shallow sandy beaches particularly safe for children as there are no tides or currents. Also come here for supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars. Cabo de Palos (12km) has a lighthouse and a lovely old harbour well known for its fish restaurants. Los Belones (10 km) is also worth a visit with a very well stocked Bodega and some very good restaurants. The cities of Cartagena (20 km) and Murcia (30km) are an excellent day trip for their shops and architecture. La Manga Del Mar Menor (15 km) is the place to go for nightlife, shopping, activities and great beaches.
