Maison Mizaru is a picturesque home built in the tradition of the region of the Valley of the Royalty along the Loire River, a wonderful base for castle visiting. Its thick limestone walls, small flowing rooms and lush gardens whisper of times past. The three bedroom, three bath home is comfortably appointed to sleep 6-8. Families will find adaptations for children and animals are welcome. This private garden home is situated along an ancient castle pathway winding around Chateau Chinon. Cars can be parked in a public lot 40 meters from its entrance. The medieval village, Chinon, can easily be visited on foot where the best wines, fine dining, boulangeries extraordinaire, chocolatiers and an abundant bi-weekly market (Thursdays and Sundays) await you. Trolleys to assist shopping on foot are available in the home. Invigorating walks wind the day to an end along the castle pathways resplendent with renovated homes, ancient architecture and colorful flowers. Welcome and enjoy!

Maison Mizaru is located in the heart of Chinon along the castle walls. Les chateaus of the region are easily accessible throughout the Valley of the Loire from this base. Wonderful sight-seeing, wine tasting and castle and church visiting await you. Chinon's wines are world re-known and her vineyards are many. Chateau Chinon is open most days and there are many wonderful castles nearby. Tour, with excellent shopping is a mere 40 minutes away by car and also accessible from the train station in Chinon. And Paris two could be visited in a day by train or car. Saumur is a hop away for wine tasting and shopping. Local markets and festivities are organized frequently throughout the summer season all along the Valley of the Loire.

Bedroom three is in the grenier and is only accessible via an exterior courtyard. Bedroom three has its own bath with shower. Bedroom 1 &2 or the Sahara and Poppy Bedrooms both have lovely large french windows overlooking the front garden and with views over chinon. The grenier is very private.

Accessible by foot only: Maison Mizaru is accessible by foot only. There is a public parking about forty meters from the home. It is located on a small street too narrow for cars. This gives the home not only charm but privacy and a feeling of being in the country though we are steps away from the main streets of Chinon and a few blocks from the River Vienne.
