As owners, we have taken great pride in furnishing our cottage for your comfort! Bike to the beach, enjoy the sunshine, take long walks on the beach and view gorgeous sunsets. Manasota Beach is only 1.2 miles away (3 minutes). Search the sand for prehistoric sharks teeth as Venice is noted as the Shark Tooth Capital! In the bonus room, you can close the door and read, or just sit and enjoy the greenery all around. The cottage is furnished with dishes, linens, beach towels and beach chairs and is light, airy and tastefully decorated. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has twin beds. The bath is completely new with ceramic tile. The kitchen has a refrigerator, 4 burner stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washing machine and dryer. In our winter months, you can enjoy fruit from the citrus trees. This house sits on 3/4 acre of lush, tropical landscape on a very quiet, dead-end street.

Once you have visited Venice Florida, you will want to come back again and again! Our 'small town' feel makes us a popular holiday/vacation destination. Yet you will be close to everything you need to enjoy this tropical paradise. You can stroll and shop in quaint downtown Venice with it's boutiques and antique shops. Venice hosts many festivals and events throughout the year. Besides the best beaches, you can work on your golf game on the picturesque, public courses in the Venice area; and seasonally migrating fish means there is always good fishing here! If you like walking, canoeing or kayaking, there are two State Parks close by. A drive to nearby Sarasota offers many venues of culture at the Van Wezel Performing Art Center, as well as museums, great shopping and all the advantages of city life. Then, return to the peace and quiet in South Venice. It's the best of all worlds!

This cottage is in a jungle! You can pick up fresh oranges if you like fresh orange juice.
Clean, comfortable cottage make you feel like home.
Location: 6-7 miles driving from Venice down town, minutes to the beach.
City atractions, restaurant info provided by owners.
I can highly recommend this propery!

We had a lovely time in this lovely cottage. Very well equipped and clean. Quiet but convenient to all amenities.
Hosts were very helpful. Would love to come back again with friends or family and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a secluded get away.
We stayed for only a week in February 2008. Wish we could have stayed longer.
