These wonderful and peaceful apartment are part of a thirties building (cited on Guida d'Italia by Touring Club Italiano, Rome, 1993: p 749) in an area rich of Roman ruins. Colosseum is within 20-minute walking distance. Nearby there are the monumental Porta Maggiore and S. Giovanni and S. Croce in Gerusalemme Cathedrals. It is quiet but central and well connected to Central Station 'Termini' (the 105 bus line stops in front of the building) and to metro lines (10-minute walking). The 571 bus, stop Porta Maggiore, brings you to Forum Romanum, Campo di Fiori, Saint Peter etc. Supermarket, Bank, Internet point are a few meters away. The area is full of restaurants, pizzerias and pubs; San Lorenzo's and Pigneto's trendy districts are within 10-minute walking distance. This charming studio-apartment looks onto a beautiful internal garden with a fountain, a table and chairs for your relax where you can enjoy nice sunny days, have breakfast outside or simply appreciate the delightful Italian weather. In the apartment there are a living area including table and chairs, a queen-size bed, a single bed and a fully equipped open kitchen with oven and refrigerator; the bathroom includes a shower. It is 25 square metres in area. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with satellite TV and autonomous heating and conditioning-air. Linens / towels provided. To/from Central Station 'Termini: bus 105 stops in front of the building. Bus 571 brings you straightly to Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Campo di Fiori, Vatican, Saint Peter, etc. Supermarket, Bank, Post office, Internet point, laundry, bakery, tabac shop, the restaurant “Mari e Monti” and the authentic Naples pizzeria “Miseria e nobiltà” are a few meters away. The most authentic italian ice cream (at Fassi from 1880) is at two stops of 105 bus line. Very useful!: close to the building (about 50 mt) there is the supermarket “DICO”. Nearby trendy pedestrian areas: Pigneto’s Market (about 200 mt) and the district “San Lorenzo” (about 600 mt). For shopping: the prestigeous brands Prada, Gucci, Furla, Petit Bateau, etc. in Via Appia Nuova and the market in Via Sannio (used clothings and leather). Within walking distance: Colosseum (20’), the Basilica of St John Lateran (12’), Porta Maggiore and Basilica Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (8’). View from the windows: Aqua Claudia aqueduct (38 A.D.)

We stayed in apartment F for four nights in August. The location is great with a bus stop right outside the gate to the building with regular bus service. Takes about 10 mins to city centre. The apartment was very clean and well laid out with air conditioning and satellite TV. Owner, Enrico, was extremely helpful and gave a lot of useful information on arrival, as well as being available if we needed anything more. As we were there for a short while we didn't explore the area but it was very peaceful and I would highly recommend this property. All the information provided in advance was accurate and it is also within easy walking distance of St John Lateran. As well as the categories below I would recommend it for people travelling alone or anyone who wants somewhere quiet, clean and convenient and very good value.

We stayed in Studio F for a week in July and had an excellent time. The owners were very helpful and the ameneties were as described. The property is not part of the house but a separate annexe, and was dark inside due to the high windows which meant having the lights on all the time when in the studio - we felt it would benefit from a skylight window in the roof. However this did not detract from our holiday as we were out all day. The small garden was very pleasant and we ate outside every evening - no problems with biting insects as there is an effective insect killer placed on the wall beside the table. The 105 bus service runs regularly and stops right outside the building - only about 10 minutes from Termini. It is always very crowded, so if you have large suitcases it may be better to take a taxi from Termini. We bought a 7 day travel ticket for 16 Euros which allowed us unlimited travel on buses, trains, metro and trams. This was excellent value for money and saved a lot of time queueing for tickets. The apartment has an additional single bed, but we felt it would only be suitable for a child and that with three adults the apartment would be overcrowded. We would recommend the Studio as good value for money and would certainly consider staying there again.

The advertised Deco building seems very nice, the so called "studio", however, is not part of the main building. So be aware when you rent it. It is a small outbuilding attached to the wall of a fountain. The room is very dark, since there are only 2 tiny windows very high up, so one cannot see out. We arrived on a dark and rainy day, I guess unusual for Spring in Rome. The room felt damp and depressing. It was, however, clean equipped with all that is advertised. Outside there is a lofty area with a table and 4 chairs 4 steps up from the room with flowers and lights. Since we had a cold and rainy week we could not make use of this attractive eating place. I wonder also how many mosquitoes there are about in the summer? So come well equipped with spray. If you want to economize and don't mind a dark room, it might be OK.

Clean and compact. Very good shower. Close to supermarket and other food stores. 10 min walk to closest metro but bus stop outside very handy. All amenities we needed including outside patio area with chairs, table and cushions. It is a floor level apartment so suitable for disabled visitors. Downside, high windows you cannot see through so no view and tends to be dark inside, but most of the time you will be out exploring anyway. Felt very safe.

Excellent choice to stay in Rome.

We are a Spanish family of 3 people, and we had the opportunity to see the study F and later the C apartment, both were very well equipped, clean and an excellent situation.
Bartoccioni's family were very kind and had a lot of attention to us. Providing all kinds of useful information from the outset.
Accommodation is in front of the door to a bus stop connects you to the Termini station in 10 minutes.
Highly recommended, we will come back without hesitation.
