Charming Luberon Village Apartments
Live the village life on holiday. Enjoy the relaxed pace of tiny Saignon, an intriguing village perched high over the Apt valley in the legendary Luberon region. The building is part of the ramparts and portal of the village, and retains the tower and the chemin de ronde. The apartments are graced with high ceilings, tall windows and antique tile floors. Make yourself at home in 'Coquelicot', a spacious studio apartment with a double canopy bed and daybed, furnished sumptuously with antiques and flea market finds, with a private bath with tub/shower, a wood-burning fireplace and breathtaking valley view. Or choose Tournesol, a two-room apartment with a twin bedroom and bath with tub/shower; a chic and sunny salon, with a daybed and kitchenette, looking out on a picturesque village square. These self-catering rentals are managed by an English-speaking artist and a writer, who offer you painting or cooking lessons, and will prepare you a dinner of regional specialities on order.
Details for Coquelicot in Vaucluse, Cote d'Azur - Provence, France
A spacious studio apartment in a medieval village building, formerly the village ramparts. A wrought iron canopy double bed is tucked into an alcove next to a curtained kitchen, fully-equipped. The arched dining alcove offers a spectacular view over the valley and the mountains beyond. The room is imaginatively furnished with antiques and flea-market finds, with first-quality linen and appointments. The wood-burning fireplace is both a focal point and a source of warmth and cheer. Red velvet high-back period armchairs, a low table and a Provençal-style daybed complete the sitting area.
