This charming, romantic Normandy farmhouse dates back to the 17th century, Situated between the pretty villages of Cerisy la Salle and Notre dame de Cenilly, it has wonderful panoramic views across the rolling Normandy countryside and the wonderful Chateau de Cerisy. Sympathetically restored by the present owners to retain its character with the advantage of modern improvements make this an ideal vacation home. Tastefully decorated and furnished, the house is centrally heated. Entering the spacious living room you are greeted by a traditional tile floor, cast iron log burner and wealth of original features and beams. A new fully equipped kitchen/ dining room and downstairs bathroom with washer and dryer complete the downstairs. A mezzanine on the second floor leading to the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom adds a touch of flair to this beautiful house. The third floor has an additional two bedrooms and bathroom with shower. Linen and towels are provided. Well behaved pets accepted.

The Hotel au Moigne is located close to many Normandy and Brittany attractions. The D-Day landing beaches, museums and cemeteries, the beautiful medieval town of Bayeaux with the famous tapestry and cathedral. The Chateau Balleroy with its hot air balloon museum. The local market towns of Saint Lo and Villedieu les poeles the places to find fresh local cheese, shellfish, meat and vegetables and enjoy the local ambiance. Close to many beaches with lots of activities including fishing, windsurfing and sailing. Wonderful local restaurants with the freshest ingredients when you want to enjoy the cuisine of northern France and just relax with a glass of wine or local calvados. A short picturesque ride to the Mont St Michel is unforgettable, maybe then going to St Malo for dinner. We have many cycling routes, plenty of walking trails and quiet lanes to explore and enjoy the views and peace of the unchanged landscape. Rivers for kayaking and even bungee jumping for the more adventurous!!!
