'Cortijo del Seba' in Archez, near Competa in Inland Costa del Sol is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. With a 7m private pool and outstanding mountain views, the villa offers 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and one single), two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen/lounge dining area. There is also a travel cot for babies. Sit on the terrace and admire the views, take a dip in the private pool or explore the surrounding villages. Walk to bars, restaurants and food shops in 10 min. The villa has 360 degree views, is not overlooked and is surrounded with almond, olive, lemon and other fruit trees. The villa is 60 minutes drive from Malaga airport, 30 minutes from the coast (40 minutes from Nerja) and 30 minutes from the beautiful Lake Vinuela. You can also fly to/from Granada which is just under 2 hours away. Perfect for an 'away from it all' break or for a walking holiday. There are many walking routes around the neighbouring villages with plenty of tapas bars on the way!

The villa is in a fantastic location, perched above the enchanting village of Archez. With just 400 inhabitants this is a truly Spanish village. Watch village life from the terrace, or wander down the hill and see the villagers park their mules outside the village bars as they pop in for a quick beer on their way home. Archez is famous for its Mudejar tower which dominates the village, built in the 15th century by the Moors. When you are tired of walking around the tiny streets of the Archez, you can walk up the hill to Canillas d'Albaida, stop off for tapas in the square and then walk along the irrigation channels and into Competa, the nearest town. Competa has over 40 bars and restaurants, a large supermarket, a nice hotel and boutiques, and a large market on Saturdays. The coast (Torre del Mar) is 30 minutes away. A hypermarket and cinema and waterpark are 25 minutes away. Nerja is 40 minutes away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices include a basic welcome pack (milk, water) and bed linen and towels. Please bring your own beach towels. 2 week rentals have a linen and towel change mid stay. We are flexible so if there is anything you require, please ask and we will do our best to help.

    The pool is unheated and available from May until October.

    We ask for a 30% deposit to secure your booking, with the remainder paid 6 weeks before departure. We accept cheques, or bank transfers. If you would prefer to pay in Euros please let us know.
  • We trust our guests to treat the villa is if it were their own. We will seek compensation for damage or substantial breakages.

Notes: Children are welcome and there is a travel cot. We have recently had the pool area fenced off from the main house and terrace to make the villa more suitable for young children. Wheelchair users are welcome but there is a small step into the house and the bathroom doors are not wide enough for a wheelchair. There are lots of parking and no rough tracks (unlike many Spanish villas). Normal hire cars are fine. The washing machine is in a cupboard outside, very near the washing line.

Airport Pick Ups: If you don't fancy driving in Spain, all you need is within walking distance of "Cortijo del Seba"(make sure you are fairly fit as the walk back to the villa is up hill!). We can arrange airport pick ups, please contact us for more details and prices.

Ski: Skiing in the Sierra Nevada is possible.

Golf: Baviera golf is 30 minutes drive away.

Other Activities: There are numerous walking routes, many of which start and end at the house
