Luxury Penthouse apartment - 2 Bed, 2 Bath. Bedroom 1 has double bed and en-suite. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, with main bathroom opposite. Both bathrooms are luxury fitted with bidet, full size bath with shower. Airconditioning/heating to living area and bedrooms.The kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board - all self catering amenities provided. English TV - BBC, ITV, CH4 and more. DVD player also. The very large sun terrace (50 m2) includes table and chairs, 4 sun loungers, sun awnings and a parasol. The local “Consum” supermarket has a wide choice of food to cater for all your needs.Above the supermarket is a “Wok Buffet” Chinese resturant and an Ice Cream Parlour.There is a children’s waterpark next to the supermarket. The towns of Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar are between 10 – 20 min drive. Garrucha with its own working harbour is renowned for its fish cuisine.

ATTRACTIONS: WATER PARK - Nearby Water Park for family fun. KARTING - Nearby karting track Indoor/Outdoor Pool - Situated within the compound are two swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor), the indoor pool is fully acclimatised and heated.

BEACHES & TOWNS: BEACHES: The nearest beach (1 km distance) is next to a naturist zone and as is quite normal in Spain it is a public area, but as the beach stretches a few miles toward Garrucha Harbour there is plenty of room for the normal public! Beyond the harbour there are many more miles of beach to Mojacar. The Towns of Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar are between 10 – 20 min drive. A car is recommended. GARRUCHA - with its own working harbour is renowned for its fish cuisine, you are completeley spoiled for choice. Mojacar beach has many English bars & cafes, whereas Vera and Garrucha are mainly spanish. The ancient Moorish town of Mojacar is worth a visit. GOLF - Located between 4 golf courses, Desert Springs, Valle de Este, Cortijo Grande and Marina del a Tor. Close by is a driving range and sports facilities.

CITIES OF MURCIA and GRANADA: MURCIA with its hyper-shopping centres is just a 1 1/2hrs drive. GRANADA which is 2hrs offers great sightseeing as well as first class skiing in the Spanish Pyrenees which is 1/2hr from the city. There's a lot to see and do in ANDALUCIA!

Lovely, clean, well equiped and well thought out apartment.(Washing machine great when Ryanair flights limit you on suitcase weight!) Helpful, friendly owners who have worked hard on facilities.
We were two couples staying together so the two spacious bathrooms (one en suite, one straight across corridor from 2nd bedroom door) were great. Very spacious apartment with larger than average terrace that we made full use of. Could have the 4 sun loungers and table and chairs out at same time with space to walk round them easily. Very secure accomodation.Nice open view to mountains, good for watching the sunsets.Pool on site great for cooling down after sightseeing. Consum supermercado 2-3 mins drive away.Many good beaches nearby. Huge local beach at Vera Playa and lovely little unspoilt coves/beaches to discover both on road toward Aguilas (which is worth morning visit for shopping-free parking at harbour) and also in Cabo de Gato Nature Park. Vera market (Saturday mornings) good for atmosphere. Also liked Majocar town,stunning views. This was a great place to stay, more unspolit than some areas of southern Spain. Found all the locals very friendly.
Drive from airport very easy on the excellent AP7 which was almost empty..different to M1!!!
Would recommend accomodation to anyone, nothing lacking at all.

A lovely holiday

We stayed in this apartment in early July 2009 and had a lovely week's holiday. The apartment is clean, light and spacious, with a lovely large sun terrace with blinds if the sun is too hot. The apartment itself is finished to a high standard, with modern furnishings and fabrics throughout and a well equipped kitchen. Both bathrooms are spacious, there is plenty of storage and hanging space, and there is also a utility room should you need to do any washing, which was a real bonus. Clearly a lot of thought and attention and has gone into the furnishing of the apartment, and this really adds to the feeling of it being a home from home. It was also easy to find following instructions from the owners. As well as having a lovely large outdoor pool with space around for sunbathing, it's also very close to Vera beach, and two large supermarkets, as well as a few very nice restaurants. We can also recommend the local water park, which was a lot of fun. Mojacar and Garrucha are within 15 or 20 minutes by car and make a nice day trip. Everything you need for a good holiday is within easy reach. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

We had a wonderful two weeks at this luxury apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this splendid apartment. It had everything you would wish for, impecably clean and tastefully decorated.This was the first time we had booked spain, and found it very pleasurable that we decide to re-book again this year. The facilities were clean and virtually new, with only a few people using the pool which made it private. The location directions made it easy to find.

We hired a car to visit some of the local region, and found plenty to do - from a spagetti western with pool facilities and marvelous zoo, a pleasure park, local restaruants within comfortable walking distance (10-15 mins)etc.

Lovely weather and can't wait for our next visit.

Vera luxury penthouse apartment

This penthouse apartment cannot be faulted. It has all the amenities you could imagine and is like a home from home (even has iron, iron board etc). The apartment is secure, very clean and very well equipped with no expense spared on the interior.

The property offers (being on the top floor) a good view of the area with a lot of privacy. Electronic gates into the area and lockable gates on the terrace ensure security for children etc. The sun terrace and table area are large and very useful, with sun beds, table and chairs all provided in the price. If you like a bit of shade sun canopies are easily deployed and retracted and a great touch.

Location is well placed with supermarket, beach, a few small cafes and water park nearby (within walking distance but ideally need a car). A further drive away provides plenty of beach, bar and cafe options should you need or want to explore.

Booking was easy and the friendly owners made this experience a pleasure. With precise directions to reach the apartment with an optional (at no extra cost) meet and greet. Will definitely be returning again soon (have already been twice and off again this month).
