Additional information about rental rates

  • The rates are per week for the apartment and include a Meet and Greet service, linen, towels (not beach towels, please bring your own), reasonable electricity/water usage and a final clean. Rates shown are based on an occupancy of 6 people, over occupancy up to a maximum of 8, are charged at an additional 50 pounds per person, per week. An additional 200 pounds is required as a security deposit against any damages/lost keys, refundable once the apartment has been checked over by our management team. We require a 150 pounds or 20% (whichever is the greatest) deposit upon making a booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure.
    Personal holiday insurance is the responsibility of the person making the booking.
    During the high season periods of July/August/Easter & Christmas, changeover days are usually on Saturdays (sometimes we can be a little flexible, please enquire). During all other periods we can be more flexible.

Penthouse Terrace: The terrace is a popular and great feature of this apartment. It is very large (61m2), it is south facing and enjoys sun all day! and has a wonderful panoramic sea view. It is equipped with sun beds and drinks table, a large dining table with 6 chairs and a large parasol, and a lovely terrace suite where you can sit and relax with a long cold drink in the early evening as you watch the sun set over the Mediterranean and the coast of Africa! For those of you who like to eat al fresco, there is even a large built in BBQ on the terrace allowing you to cook al fresco too!

Calahonda Information: Calahonda is a busy resort with a rustic flavour and is very much centred on the holidaymaker, with four golf courses, tennis courts, and a shimmering coastline offering an array of water sports, shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants that have a truly global take on cuisine and cannot fail to suit all tastes! Calahonda has its own marina called Cabopino (5 minutes away,) which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque marina on the Costa del Sol. It has a superb sandy beach with bars and restaurants that have barbecue areas where freshly caught fish are cooked as a speciality. The marina is host to many lovely and well known reputable restaurants,

Eating Out around Calahonda: Within a few minutes walk of the apartment you will find a mini-market and bar/restaurants all of which we can highly recommend. Walking a little further on (3 minute drive) will bring you to the ‘Strip’ well known in Calahonda for its wide choice of restaurants, which cater for literally all tastes, including Swiss! Around the corner from the Strip is the El Zoco Centre where you will find a further choice of wonderful restaurants set in a lovely pedestrianised area. In addition you will find gift shops, banks, newsagents, pharmacy etc and one of 3 large supermarkets, which will cater for all your needs. Opposite the El Zoco, just across the coastal road, there is the Dona Lola Complex where yet again you will find a further choice of good bars and restaurants to choose from.

A JEWEL OF AN APARTMENT IN A FANTASTIC LOCATION!

What more can we add after reading all the excellent reviews and actually staying in this beautiful apartment and visiting lots of the attractions (i.e. beaches, golf courses, shops, marinas and restaurants) in the surrounding area - THE BEST HOLIDAY WE HAVE HAD FOR A LONG TIME! It kept not only my husband and I happy, but also four teenagers who did not want to come home! We did not have enough time to do all the things we planned to do and intend to rebook in the future. Also,Sharon and Darren are the most professional people to deal with. They took care of every minute detail from start to finish. Thank you both so much. We would recommend this luxury apartment and wonderful location to anyone. p.s. Not only is this place good for golf but also if you are a keen fisherman, like our two sons, it is great to go on a day boat trip and cook the catch on the barbeque on the balcony when you get back to the apartment. Add a good bottle of cold white wine or beer and it's heaven!

5 star apartment in Costa Del Sol

Situated outside a functional town, on the hillside, the apartment has excellent views ot to sea. The complex is mainly residential, so very quiet and well kept (pools are often empty!). A car is recommended, as although there are 4 seperate pool complexes and a supermarket and restaurants within 10 min walk, there's so much to see and explore locally (and definately not at all architypical "Brits abroad"). The apartment is huge with every conceiveable extra: from hairdryers in every room to a cool box and beach toys to take on the beach. Outside the apartment there is a patio off the kitchen (great for drying washed clothes/ also stores a cupboard full of beach toys etc), but then there's also a huge L-shaped balcony around the lounge, dining room, bedrooms! which has dual sided, far-reaching sea views: probably the best apartment in the complex for such views. The furnishing appointment is 5-star (even the outdoor furniture)- from leather sofas in the lounge, to cool satin curtains and bed-throws in the bedrooms, to matching wicker deck recliners/3 piece patio set and coffee table/6 seater outdoor glass table chairs and sunshade. The kitchen has everything, incl. washing machine and dishwasher , and there is an outside BBQ area. We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children (aged 6 to 9) and can't think of anything we missed. The owners are great with loads of info prior to arrival, and the cleaning/local management team(a very pleasant English couple) meet you on arrival and to settle you in. Calahonda is centrally placed with Marbella 15 mins drive one way, and Fuengerola/Torremolinas 15 mins drive the other. In between there are a number of beautiful, safe beaches (esp Capobino) lined with attractive, delightful restaurants. Along this same coast is a waterpark, zoo, sea-life centre, museum...to name a few. Mijas is a pretty Spanish town 10 mins away on the mountainside. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment and location to anyone, but do recommend a car. I am sure like us, having been you'll feel hard pushed to find anywhere so luxurious and well placed, not just on the Costa Del Sol, but anywhere in Europe. If only you could pick up the apartment up and take it with you on your next holiday!

The pools being very quiet and not overcrowded is another luxury affording our guests the opportunity to be able to relax and 'wallow' in peace and with plenty of space in the pools for all to enjoy! Una Belleza !! (a Beauty)

Having been in the area of Marbella several times we booked this apartment a year ago - and very glad we did so. Everything you read about it on the website is true, except that the combination of a great terrace and views was much better !! Breakfast and evening BBQs on this terrace were a feast. Sharon and Darren have equipped this appartment with alot of care, specially reflected in the details - chapeau to both of you!! To top it up you also ensured everything was arranged perfectly.
We do advice you rent a car - the jogging trip to/back from the supermercado was a challenge to say the least - and Sharron can help even with that. By car everything is a mere few minutes drive - restaurants, beaches, shops (Lidl also open Sundays) and even a funny game of golf at La Siesta GC - kind of alpine pitch & putt, where you have to avoiding hitting the ball into the apartments - my son and I had a great time.
No doubt this Dutch family will be back soon.

What a holiday!! I booked this apartment for my 30th birthday and we had the most fantastic time and loved this apartment sooooo much! It was just the best setting and what a view! Everything about it was great and totally faultless. This is a wonderful relaxing apartment in a great location with more than enough facilities and we just loved the area too as it was so easy to get to places very quickly and easily. The owner kept in touch frequently with us which was very helpful and she even arranged our car hire for us. Thank you so much Sharon for everything, you helped to make our holiday and my birthday perfect. We will definitely be looking to book this apartment again when we return to Calahonda, will be back soon. If Carlsberg made apartments........!!
