This charming 4-star apartment (1 hour from Geneva airport) is close to St. Gervais/Megève, Les Contamines and Chamonix. It is on or near many of the best mountain trails in Europe including the Tour du Mont Blanc. Easy access to many mountain lakes. The region and its lively towns offer a large variety of sports and cultural activities (including summer music festivals) for adults and kids. The apartment is wood panelled, tastefully furnished and equipped with modern features including WiFi, fully-equipped kitchen, plasma TV, DVD player, high-tech fireplace and washer-dryer. It opens onto a large terrace and garden with Alpine views on all sides. Beautiful amenities including all bed and bath linens are provided. Two double bedrooms (one with extra bed) and one with bunk beds. Two full baths. The apartment has its own entrance and parking. It is located in a quiet hamlet easily accessible from main roads.

In the heart of the 'Mont Blanc country', about 5 km each from St. Gervais (joined to Megève by cablecar links) and Les Contamines (adventure park and Roman road leading over passes into Italy). The valley of Chamonix (Mont Blanc tunnel, glaciers, cogwheel train) is near. Megève and Chamonix both offer upscale shopping. There are summer music festivals (jazz and classical) in nearby Cordon, St. Nicholas-de-Véroce, and Megève. Wide range of good restaurants including many in Alpine settings.

The special attraction of this beautiful chalet is that it is in a quiet, romantic hamlet and yet is very close to ski slopes, good restaurants, luxury shopping and cultural and musical events in St. Gervais, Contamines, Megève and Chamonix. There are unobstructed mountain views on all sides. A car is necessary. Access roads are paved and cleaned regularly by municipal snow plows, but snow tires are essential and chains may be needed in rare cases. Multi-lingual owners can provide practical information about the region. Other services, for example cleaning or initial shopping, can be provided on request.
