Perfect summer holiday rental, the villa is located in the close vicinity of the small medieval village of Oriolo Romano. A short drive will take you to Bracciano with the imposing castle and the peaceful lake. Take an afternoon to pamper yourself in the many Roman spas in the area. The villa is also within reach of the sandy beaches of Fregene and Santa Severa, highlight of the Roman summer nightlife. Rome is just round the corner, connected with efficient public transport, and don't forget Viterbo (35km away) for a true journey into time!

Once the summer residence of the Popes, Viterbo is linked by railway (30 mins, a train every hour). Viterbo is a hidden treasure for natural beauties and cultural heritage. Rome is at 50km, linked by railway (50 mins, a train every hour) and by coach services (about 1h). The villa is 25 mins drive to the seaside, Santa Severa and Fregene, among the others, where you can hire sunbeds/umbrellas or bring your own. The area is scattered with Etruscan and Roman sites, very well preserved yet mostly unknown to the wider public. Many national parks and natural reserves to go trekking or mountain biking to get in touch with nature.
