Alpine Sports:
Beginners-
Saas Fee has excellent nursery areas for beginners located on the edge of the village. The Stafelwald and Kalbermatten areas are ideal for beginners and children. The pistes are not too steep but are varied and interesting.
Intermediates-
The challenging Langfluh area at 2870m is good intermediate terrain. This wide glacier piste is particularly good for making long turns. The Felskinn at 3000m is one of the most popular section of Saas Fee’s trails and offers excellent powder skiing.
Advanced-
The highest skiing in Saas Fee is on the Allalin at 3500m where you can experience incredible panoramic views. Or test your nerves on the Spielboden area with its heavily mogulled runs.
Snowboarding-
Saas Fee is among the great snowboard centres of Switzerland and boasts a year-round snowboarding park on its glacier complete with half pipes, quarter pipes, rails, tables, gaps and a high jump for professionals. Regular world class snowboard events take place throughout the year.
Summer Activities:
Saas Fee is the ideal summer destination - around 300 days of sunshine a year and a mild, evenly balanced climate. The picturesque village of Saas Fee develops again the rich canvas of colour where wildlife and flora can flourish once again at winters end.

There are 350km network of hiking paths, a number of which are situated within a few metres of the chalet, walkers can enjoy breathtaking scenery in fresh alpine air. Imagine walking in the pine forests of the alps breathing in the crisp scented air in the beautiful scenery.

'Feeblitz ' Toboggan/bobsleigh Run -
Open in Summer and Winter the toboggan run is great fun for all ages. Ride on the highest roller coaster in the alps at speeds up to 40km!
Snow Tubing/Air boarding -
Snow-tubing/air boarding involves speeding down through the snow on giant rubber tyres or air boards. The 100m course at Saas Fee features plenty of curves and obstacles.
Sledging -
A 5 km-long well groomed sledging trail takes you on a fun ride through snow-covered trees down to the village. Sledges can be rented.
The Ice Pavilion -
Discover the fascinating world of glaciers in the biggest ice grotto in the world at 3500 metres above sea level. A must see for all ages.
Ski:
Saas Fee has over 100km of marked pistes are with plenty to choose from between beginner, intermediate and advanced. High quality snow is guaranteed at an unrivalled altitude up to 3600 metres and the awe-inspiring glaciers ensure skiing and snowboarding is possible all year round. There are a number of routes up the mountain, the largest is via the Alpin Express, towards the Metro Alpin, the highest underground funicular system in the world.
Top World Cup teams from all over the world train in Saas-Fee's summer skiing area every summer. In autumn keen skiers and snowboarders take the opportunity to get into the mood for the winter.
Pistes of every degree of difficulty stretch from 3600 m above sea-level to 1800 m above sea-level and are surrounded by breathtaking glacier scenery. Nine different restaurants within the area cater for the well-being of visitors.
