The apartment is on the first floor overlooking the pool, with a sunny disposition (ideal for watching the kids play). It is centrally located, with all the essential amenities close by, supermarket, restaurants, bars. The beach is 10 mins walk. There is a bus stop within 200 metres of the apartment, with services between Malaga & Marbella. You are also close to the Malaga Fuengirolla rail line, which runs every 30 mins. There are also a number of well known golf courses close by. Everything you need is within walking distance, while a car is not necessary, there is adequate parking space available. Local activities golf, swimming, cycling, walking, diving, wind-surfing, water skiing. Attractions for young (and not so young) include the Marina with its bars and clubs, Tivoli World, Crocodile Park, Cable Car, Sea Life, Aquapark and numerous golf courses.

The Don Joaquin complex is only 15 minutes by taxi from Malaga Airport. Car hire can easily be arranged, and there is adequate parking in the complex. The apartment is situated in a quiet old Villa Avenue only 10 minutes walk from The World Famous ‘Puerto Marina‘ where you will find restaurants to suit all tastes, bars to enjoy a lazy drink and music to dance the night away. The beach is about 10 min walk from the apartment. You are also close to the Aqua park, and Tivoli world, which is an entertainment complex for young people. There is a regular bus about 5 mins away, which will bring you anywhere from Malaga to Marbella. Also Train station 10 mins approx, with a regular service between Malaga & Fuengirola The are is very laid back, and peacefull. The complex, while close enough to all the amenities, is far enough away to guarantee a good night's sleep.     30% booking deposit required to confirm booking, balance 2 months before arrival, 2 month in the high season. A security deposit €200 may also be required, which will be refunded 1 week after departure, subject to the apt being in order, return of keys etc.

There is plenty to see and do in the area. Tivoli Park for example, which is a centre of entertainment mainly for the young. There is also the Aqua Park, which is less than 10 mins by taxi. The area caters well for young and not so young. The Marina is well populated with lively bars, restaurants, and discos. While the area is lively, you are assured of a good nights sleep Golf For the golf enthusiast there are a number of golf courses close by. There is at least 50 golf course on the Costa Del Sol alone.

we stayed in august 2009 2 adults 2 kids,nice clean apartment centrally located good pool area,plenty of kids there,downside was it was on a steep hill which was difficult when in the 35 degrees heat you had to go up it three or four times a day!! good air-con although should be stated that it is coin operated so you have to keep feeding it euros!! would go again ideal for families.

Our winter holiday 2008

This property was actually up to the standard described in the details. Apart from the distance from the tren estacion, 1/2 an hour easily all uphill.
It was a surprise having to keep feeding euros into the box for heating, we've never had to do that before, would have been a good idea for the spec to let prospective hirers know about this. Gathering euros was a scrabble for the first few days.An extra charge on the hire feespecified for heating/air con would be better. But the apartment was quiet, sunny, and very spacious and comfortable.
Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties, as half way up a steep hill, unless they have their own transport. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, public transport was very good, lots of places to go and see. Malaga especially is a delight.
We enjoyed our three week break, and if going back to the same area, would definitely think about hiring this one again!

Have recently returned after spending around 3 weeks in the apartment. As the guy on the TV Advert says - it does everything it says on the tin ! Its well maintained and well equipped, in a quiet location but very close to all amenities. Easy walking distance to Bus route and also 15 mins to local Railway Station.  Cheap rail and bus fares to Malaga and Fueringerola etc.Colin and Lorraine met me on arrival and were really helpful. There are a great variety of good, reasonably priced restaurants to suit everyone's taste and budget.  I will returning in January for another break there and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

We are just back from our stay at this apartment and i can safely say that we had a brilliant time. The description was spot on and it was centrally located near to everything you need. The only downside is that it is on a steep hill that we sometimes climbed twice a day..and in the 35 degree heat its a tough climb!!!

The apartment was very well equipped and was spotlessly clean thanks to Colin and Lorraine.

Im definitely thinking about booking for next year already!!
