If you are looking for a romantic place at just 9 kms from Rome, a relaxing cottage for a family or a couple, if you like touring and visiting monuments, historic places, but you don't like traffic jam, claxons, smog, etc, our location is for you ! Enjoy our garden or have your breakfast under the bower, with all facilities: free Internet access, sat-tv, air conditioning and - in winter - a fireplace for romantic nights, FREE WOOD ! - At only 100 mts by foot, there is a little shop to buy anything you need, Public transport buses at scheduled times - 100 mts' from home... you can go easily to Rome, even if you do not have a car on your own, at cheap price: only 1.80 Euro ! Guests call our cottage 'a little oasis' where you can stay in peace and relax, amidst the trees, after strolling for hours in Rome ....

Our Villino is at 9 kms only from Rome. There are plenty of things to see in Rome: Colosseo, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Fori Imperiali, etc.. And its surroundings are worthy visiting: the sea for ex., Santa Severa, with its old castle on the beach, only 45 minutes from home, or the wonderful medieval village of Calcata. Or Bracciano lake, with the pretty village of Trevignano , north of Rome. If you like shopping, you have a huge shopping mall: Porta di Roma (15 minutes from home), Auchan, Ikea, Decathlon, 220 shops, cinemas, restaurants, et.. Big market: on Sunday, in Porta Portese.

There is also a WESTERN POINT. .On September, FESTA DI SAN BIAGIO and PALIO DELLA STELLA: horse race, MEDIEVAL STYLE, with knights wearing ancient clothes. The owner can suggest you restaurants in Rome and surroundings, and give you any kind of tips about excursions. And if you want to try Italian cuisine, the owner can cook for you at very cheap price(10 euros x pers.) ...!

We had a wonderful time at our stay in Emanuela's cottage. The cottage was a short bus and train ride from the centre of Rome, which we visited every day. The cottage is situated in a village next to the owners house. The facilities were very satisfactory and everything was provided to make us feel at home. Emanuela and her family couldn't have done more for us and their hospitality was second to none. They were exceptionally kind and helpful, making our first stay in Rome a really enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this property.
