Arquà Petrarca is a small village, which preserve the unchanged glamour of medieval time and it is considered the pearl of the Euganean Hills. Arquà has been inhabited since the Roman times, and gained more importance when Francesco Petrarca, one of the highest poet of the Italian tongue, wished to spend the last years of his life in the serene quietness of the place. Wine and eat lovers won’t be disappointed: the zone is full of restaurants and Agriturismos, which offer to all visitors, wine, olive’s oil (one of the better of Italy) producted by themselves. Near the house you will find two wine cellars 'Loreggian' and 'Borin' where is possible to taste and buy wine and typical products. Few kilometers far, there are the thermal towns like Abano, Montegrotto Terme, Battaglia and Galzignano where to get massages and thermal bath, well-known all over the world.
