The house at Puilhou Mein is grand in stature, standing in its own grounds and reached via a private drive with electric gates. The landscaped gardens with ornamental pond (unfenced) and 10 acres of woodland/pasture provide a beautiful setting for you and your family to relax and enjoy your holiday.The property is tastefully decorated throughout and very spacious. There is a modern fully fitted kitchen, utility area, wet room and WC. Adjoining the kitchen is a lounge come breakfast room complete with open fire, satellite television, video & DVD player. Adjoining this room is the main lounge/dining room; this is a very large room with open fire and stone spiral staircase leading to 3-bedrooms, shower room & WC. From the Lounge access is gained to two further bedrooms both with en suite (WC/Shower & WC/Bath/shower). The house is equipped with lots of board games, plenty of books, DVDs, Videos, CDs and a PS2. There is also a PC with internet access.

The property is 5km from Begard with its shops, restaurants and large supermarket. The lovely shopping areas at Lannion/Guingamp are also within 20 minutes drive. There are also many attractions to explore in Britanny's Cotes d'Armor region.. If you want sandy beaches which are just 30 minutes away, country or coastal walks, to visit glorious chateaux with formal gardens or amble around picturesque market towns, Cotes D’Armor has it all. You can take numerous boat trips to explore islands such as Isle of Brehat or the Sept Isles which is great for wildlife enthusiasts. A delightful steam train journey is also available from Pontrieux to Paimpol. The area is also ideal if you fancy a spot of fishing, sailing, surfing, golfing, cycling or horse riding & for a great family day out there is a small theme park just 10 minutes drive away. This boasts an aqua centre with swimming pool, giant slides, trampolines and mini-golf. The fabulous Oceanopolis aquarium at Brest is also sure to please.
