Absolutely perfect Villa - this MUST be booked!

When I was booking the villa in Kefalonia I had the following requirements:
1. It had to be private and secluded, yet accessible, close to supermarkets, near a main road and reasonably close to the airport
2. Be well equipped with everything you would possibly need
3. Have sea views, close to a beach with a balcony
4. Have a clean, contemporary and romantic feel to it
5. Be quick and easy to book
I am glad to say that Villa Kallisto met ALL my requirements and exceeded my expectations! (after browser over ALOT of villas) I took my girlfriend here just for a few nights as a surprise, so I had to organise everything myself. This was not a problem as the directions provided from the airport were very clear and easy to follow, as were the directions to the local supermarkets.
We stayed at the top villa, the photos do not do it justice - it has a very grand feel to it (and the other half was impressed :-))
All we brought with us was clothes and beach towels, everything else was in the villa, from hairdryers and irons to a huge plasma and an iPod dock (which we used quite a bit)
We had breakfast every morning on the huge balcony overlooking the gorgeous picturesque views (I cooked a full English breakfast in the fab kitchen)
We spent afternoons basking in the glorious sun, cooling down in the clean pool surrounded by the gardens. We felt like we were the only people on the island! (yet supplies were just a few minutes away if we needed to stock up on some wine)
The Bedrooms were a generous size, well decorated, cosy and clean. The master bedroom is also equipped with a safe (which was essential for me as we had a few valuables with us)
We visited Agostoli (a short drive away -we had a great lunch next to the port), the beaches of Skala (wasn't overly crowded even in July) and some great restaurants cliff side near Pesada.
On the final night I had a catering company cook us a 4 course candle lit meal on the balcony overlooking the Lights in the Garden. I had a violinist play to us whilst we enjoyed our dinner and then whisked her away to a nearby secluded beach where I had hundreds of candles set up - I then popped the question! (she said yes - yay!)
Kefalonia will always be a magical place for me and my fiancée - and Villa Kallisto was the perfect location.
