A beautiful villa in tranquil Pessada....

We have just returned from a relaxing two week stay at Villa Kallisto . My sister, husband and 8 year old niece stayed in the top villa and myself, my husband and 12 year old daughter stayed in the bottom villa. The owners description of the villa lends itself well to this beautiful villa .. it's spacious, clean and each villa is self contained, and well equipped. The pool was a suitable size which is set in the pretty grounds of the villa and is cleaned on a regular basis.
A car is a must during your stay here though in order to reach the local shops, restaurants and prettier beaches of Kafelonia and is a definite for taking in the spectacular sights of the island!!!. We ate out quite alot but also enjoyed catering for ourselves at the villa .. having barbecues around the pool or for a change of scene we would dine upstairs on the balcony and take in the breathtaking views across to Zante!!! (The meat market/shop is excellent and is approx 10-15 mins away).
We enjoyed visiting the caves and snorkelling in the clear blue seas but the highlight for my daughter was seeing a loggerhead turtle feeding from the fisherman's catch in Argostoli.
We would definitely recommend Villa Kallisto for a relaxing family holiday and the owners are friendly and helpful.
