Situated in the Mato Serrão part of Carvoeiro, just 1km north west of the picturesque and highly popular resort centre, 'Casa Chisca' is a privately owned and well maintained single storey semi detached villa. Casa Chisca has a living/dining room with wood-burning stove (for the cooler winter months) a good size kitchen (inc dishwasher) with eating area & seating, two bedrooms with modern air-conditioning/heating units (one double, one twin), a family bathroom & one en-suite. To the front of the Villa there is an informal covered patio with table and seating. The outlook over the green front lawn with palm tree and an orchard beyond, makes this a delightful setting for relaxing outdoor meals, drinks & BBQ's. The private front lawn and a further uncovered adjacent patio are available for relaxation, sunbathing or playing table tennis. At the rear of the Vila there is a built-in utility room with washing machine and outdoor clothes lines adjacent. There is private parking for a Car.

The journey from Faro Airport to Casa Chisca when travelling directly by car is approx 45minutes. For new guests we are happy to provide full directions. Casa Chisca is situated close to many safe, sandy beaches, with the local beach within walking distance. The Carvoeiro Tennis Club (with free swimming pool) & the large Intermarche supermarket are just a 5-min drive away. In Carvoeiro village (15 min walk) there is an excellent choice of local shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks, a post office plus pharmacy, doctor and dentist (although we hope you won't need them!). There are also several world-class 18-hole courses close by including: Carvoeiro Golf; Pinta & Gramacho. Also in Carvoiero, Vale De MIlho provides the option of the shorter 9 hole course .Fun days out for the younger ones include, Slide 'n Splash (10 min drive), Crazy Golf World & Zoo (15min drive) & Zoomarine (20 min drive). The sights & surf beaches of the West Coast are also within an hour's drive.

  • Our quoted rates include the cost of gas, water and electricity (including air conditioning/heating in the bedrooms)used during your stay. Bathroom towels and bed linen are supplied. These items will be cleaned at our cost following your departure (Please remember to bring your own towels for use at the beach. Maid service is included once per week when your stay duration is 2 weeks or more. A cot is available on request at an additional cost of £5.00 per week. A high chair is available at no extra charge.CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES: You may check in at 3pm or earlier if the previous guests have not vacated the same morning. CHECK OUT time is 10am on the day of your departure. Favourable rates available for off-peak bookings of more than 3 weeks duration. Longer term winter lets offered at competitive rates.
  • PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS: In the UK we accept payment in £ sterling by personal cheque, in Portugal in Euros by personal cheque. A non-refundable 25% deposit payment is required to secure the booking. Please ensure you have travel insurance in place at the time of booking to cover you for cancellation, in the unlikely event that you have to withdraw from travelling. The balance of the rental payment which is again non-refundable, is payable 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. We will acknowledge receipt of all payments.

We have just spent a very enjoyable week at this charming villa. The villa was very well kept, very clean, surprisingly spacious and in a lovely garden in a quiet area though not out in the countryside. We hired a car which we think is a must for airport transfers,going to the beach and supermarket and any other trips out. We had lovely food at villa nova close by and at marisquera restauraunt in Carvoerio. We did a beautiful walk along the cliffs and beaches from Canarios beach to Ferragouda, we also found that Pintadinio beach was very safe for our grandchildren and was also able to park right by the beach. If we are lucky enough to return to Carvoerio we would certainly use this accomodation again.

The picture of the property does not give it justice. I couldn't believe my eyes on the day we arrive. It is the perfect location as a base for visiting the area.

We visited all of the Algarve, from Tavira to Sao Vicente, while on a 12 days stay at Casa Chista. There was nothing missing for our comfort and everything was extremely clean.

I recommend this place to anyone. A car is almost a must.

P.S. - A GPS is a must if you want to enjoy visiting the area by car.

A peaceful haven in the delightful Algarve.

My wife and I have been visiting Carvoeiro for over twenty years and have watched the small town being developed but not spoilt. It still retains the atmosphere of the original fishing village. Carvoeiro remains for us a firm favourite as a holiday venue. My wife and I have stayed in Casa Chisca many times in different seasons of the year. Casa Chisca is clean, homely and comfortable and very welcoming in the Portuguese winter. There is an easy-to-light log fire and plenty of other heating if needed. The terrace makes an ideal dining area overlooking the beautiful garden, alive with colour at all times of the year. When feeling energetic there was the table tennis table to keep us occupied. There is a supermarket within easy walking distance at Monte Carvoeiro and the small town, sporting many shops and eating places, is easily accessible within 15 minutes walk downhill. It might take 20 minutes back, but the return by the coastal path gives spectacular views. Casa Chisca is highly recommended by us. Andy.
