Situated between Nice and Monaco (Monte Carlo), Beaulieu sur mer is an exceptional place where the sea meets the mountains. Beaulieu is a vibrant town full of pretty streets, wonderful Belle Epoque buildings, cafes, exclusive boutiques, a daily market, two harbours and a casino. A true holiday destination, Beaulieu has two beaches. Beaulieu is vibrant year round, making it a great place to visit at any time of the year and is ideally situated to explore the region, either by car, train, or bus. To the west are Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez, Provence and the mountain resorts of the lower Alps. To the east is Monaco (Monte Carlo) with its glamorous casinos, luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants. Italy is only a short train ride or car drive away with its colourful markets and delicious food. Beaulieu is also the site of Grecian Villa Kerylos built 1902 which is now a gorgeous museum open to the public.

Walking & Hiking: There are many trails in and around Beaulieu. The area around Beaulieu is immediately quite mountainous and there are many trails which can be explored or hikes to be done with guides, both in summer and winter season.

Museums: There are two local museums (Villa Ephrussi Rothschild and Vila Kerylos) and the area offers a large amount and variety of other cultural institutions, based on the rich cultural heritage of the area (Nice: Museum of Modern Art, Matisse Museum, Chagall Museum; St. Paul de Vence: Fondation Maeght; Antibes: Picasso Museum; various Chapels with murals from Cocteau; many seasonal art exhibitions and festivals. etc etc.

Skiing: There are a number of good ski resorts located close enough for a day trip. For example Isola 2000 and Auron in France or Limone in Italy. All can be reached by car - approx 1 1/2 hours drive or by public transport. There is also a large variety of accommodation in these resorts and it can be booked over the internet.

Golf: The golf clubs of Monaco, Opio, Mougins and Cannes all welcome visitors and are only a short drive away.

5 Star Studio in classy Beaulieu

The owners description really understates the charms of this beautiful apt. The location is ideal, the furnishings new and all top of the range.
Some people are put off by studio apartments and having to let the fold away bed down each night - no such prob here. The gigantic bed appears (and disappears) at the flick of a switch. Superb ... (must have cost a fortune.)
Bathroom is classy and patio area lovely to take a meal there.

We could not find any fault with our choice of accom.

The best boulangerie in town is just around the corner as is the daily fruit and veg market with superb local produce on sale.

There are a number of lovely coffee shops, a fab. deli and and a patisserie with cakes and chocolate to die for also on your door step.

Finally the meal is Les Agaves is a real treat. The restaurant is one of the top rests. on The Riviera .

The Best Studio in Beaulieu-Sur-Mer

This little studio in Beaulieu is a perfect holiday rental. The location is ideal, close to restaurants, shopping, all transportation and services in the heart of this sweet village. The owner has lovingly furnished this studio in the best of taste and there is absolutely nothing lacking even for the most discriminating traveler. The kitchen has been furnished with care and stocked with excellent appliances, lovely china, glassware and silver.
There is sufficient storage in the beautifully designed bathroom with its superb shower and luxurious bath towels. A flat screen TV and DVD player provide more than sufficient entertainment. And then there is the lovely, very private little patio with a table that seats 4 persons and a small sofa. An awning provides shade during the afternoon sun. It's a great place for dining, drinking or just relaxing. The studio overlooks a garden area in a well maintained buiding. An added plus are the delicious dinners at Les Agaves, a 3 minute walk away.
Many thanks to Danka and Jacky for all their care and attention.
Don't even try to book this for the month of June. It is mine - all mine and I can't wait to return!!

Comfortable, relaxing and great location

This is a spacious and well designed studio appartment with excellent and well equipped kitchen area and beautifully fitted bathroom. The lounge area is very relaxing with superb flat screen TV and a very useful writing desk so don't forget your laptop as there is also free WIFI.

We also particularly liked the way that French windows from the kitchen and lounge areas led out onto a pretty terrace ideal for al fresco dining.

Great location too just a few minutes walk from all local amenities.

This is our second visit to Beaulieu sur Mer and we will definitely go back. Beautiful scenery and a lovely large village atmosphere with exclusive shops, great food shops and daily fruit and vegetable market not to be missed! And of course some fabulous restaurants including Les Agaves.

Simply lovely! We found everything we were searching for. The studio is situated in a wonderful context. The building is quiet and well-maintained as well as the studio. All the furniture and equipment are new. Everything in the house is functional. We loved having breakfast and rest on the terrace. All shops and restaurants and beaches are near so closing the car in the garage was a fantastic experience. But the most important thing is that we met an extraordinary guest who made us feel like at home.
A special appreciation has to be done to the wonderful french cooking of Restaurant Les Agaves, to its friendly owners and staff.

'Luxurious Contemporary Studio in Beaulieu'

18th Aug 2008. We spent 10 wonderful days of July in this studio. The property is stunning, lovingly decorated to the highest standard by its most sincere owner. It is situated in the centre of absolutely everything, joyous place. Les Agaves restaurant is michelin star standard! We would like to keep this studio all to ourselves!!
