Private garden, swimming pool, terraces, garden furniture, gas BBQ. Safe private covered parking. Romantic, picturesque views from all rooms onto the old perched village of Tourrette-Levens and the 12th century chateau. Walking distance from local shops, restaurants. Easy access to mountains or beaches. Ideal centre to discover this beautiful and varied region either by car, on foot, or by cycling. Between June/September Tourrette-Levens and the 9 other perched villages around Nice stage a series of free cultural events: concerts and spectacles for all tastes. Prices include linen/towels. Tourrette-Levens is on the route of picturesque perched villages on the hills behind Nice, Cote d'Azur at 325m altitude. During July and August there is a cultural festival with free music, theatre and other shows up in the grounds of the 12th century chateau. There are two interesting permanent museums at Tourrette-Levens, both free entry. One tells us about the old tools that were used by the locals around these hills, the other contain a huge and spectacular buttefly and insect collection. There is also a temporary exhibition, especially organised for the tourist season. Tourrette-Levens is easy reach of Monaco, the beautiful coastline at Villefranche-sur-mer, St.Jean Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu-sur-Mer where there are also free shows during July and August. The Italian border and the pleasant town of Menton is about 30kms away. For a change of scenery (and temperature during the hot summer months) the lovely alpine resort of St.Martin de Vesubie is an easy hour's drive away.

Area: The small town of Tourrette-Levens is within half an hour drive from the picturesque coastline at Villefranche-sur-mer, Beaulieu-sur-mer, St.Jean Cap Ferrat, Monaco, Antibes. About 45 minutes from Cannes. Italian border and Menton is 31kms away. An easy 1 hour drive to the North in the beautiful gorge of the Vesubie river,one arrives to the pleasant resort of St.Martin de Vesubie, at 1000 meters altitude. 4 kms on there are two ski resorts at 1,600 and 1,900meters altitude. Guided mountain tours, white water rafting and other mountain sport available. The nearest small 9 hole practice golf course is 25 minutes away and further 9 and 19 hole courses are at Monaco, Valbonne and Sophia Antipolis, about 45 minutes away along pleasant scenic mountain roads.

A wonderful relaxing place to stay .All amenities were better than described in the property details ,exceptionally clean and well maintained .Would recommend to friends and would definitely go again . A credit to excellent hosts Annemarie and David.

What a gem!

This a wonderful place to stay. The apartment is superb - spacious, spotless, well-equipped, tastefully decorated - sitting in a glorious location, with a stunning pool/patio overlooking magnificent views. Our hosts, Annemarie and David, have thought of everything necessary to make the holiday a real pleasure.

Fantastic Place to Stay

The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained and I found the terrace and pool area especially exceeded our expectations. Annemarie and David were on hand to offer advice and suggest outings we might enjoy (fireworks in Monanco for example) and we found their help invaluable. We found we spent more time by the pool than we normally would do on holiday simply because it was so lovely and relaxing to be there.

Fantastic Find!

We were hoping for lovely, but got perfect - in every way! This apartment far exceeded expectations and we all felt is the best we have ever stayed in! Beautifully presented and spotless, spacious, fabulous bathrooms, very well-equipped, has the most wonderful terrace and pool with breathtaking views and it is so peaceful - we felt our cares melt away! Very well-situated for visiting Nice and the surrounding area and Tourette-Levens is just beautiful. Thankyou Annemarie and David for providing such a superb place to stay and for being such friendly and helpful hosts. We will certainly recommend La Rose to our friends and hope to return ourselves one day!

SUPERB HOLIDAY APARTMENT!!!

What an apartment!!

If you are looking for fabulous, clean, well equipped accommodation with stunning panoramic views and a private pool then look no further - this IS the place to stay.

Only a 20 minute drive from Nice and the airport and yet so quiet and peaceful.

Annemarie and David are wonderful hosts with lots of ideas and helpful advice. The apartment is extremely spacious, well equipped and the perfect size for four adults.

We would not hesitate in staying here again and hope to return soon!!!
