This charming 3 bedroom apartment in a building from the fifties, completely renovated last year, offers you excellent accommodation right in the center of Lisbon, in a residential area within 15mn walk to 'Baixa' (the old city). The apartment has 3 large bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It's located on the 3rd floor (the building has an elevator) on a lively street full of small shops and overlooking the trees. Very close to the nearest underground station and to a number of buses, you will find it easy to visit any part of Lisbon, either by walking or public transport. The apartment has nice wooden floors from the 50's (renovated), large windows opening onto 2 sunny balconies (with tables and chairs outside, to enjoy in good weather), and is decorated in a simple and comfortable style, mixing period furniture and modern pieces, with some paintings by young Portuguese artists on the walls. It's a good place to relax after a day in town!

In Lisbon you will enjoy an intense cultural life (museums, architecture, exhibitions, classical, rock and jazz music concerts but also little 'fado' houses); a wide variety of restaurants, from the small 'tasca' next door to the big modern style restaurants on the riverside (the famous traditional 'Cervejaria Portugália' is only 3mn walk away); theatre, cinema (original language with Portuguese subtitles), nightlife. The shopping is excellent. You can walk around the town center, or drive to one of the nearby beaches or golf courses. Less than 20km away you will find many beaches: Caparica (south of the Tagus), a 20km continuous stretch of sand, and Guincho (near Cascais), world famous for surfing and wind-surfing. Golf players will find a dozen golf courses within a 30 minute drive, on both sides of the Tagus.

Great week-end break

Five friends and myself stayed in this lovely apartment for 4 nights in October. Very clean and airy and well-equipped. A bit of a walk to down-town but taxis are cheap and plentiful. Good restaurents in the area within walking distance.
Owner's Response: There are also plenty of buses and the metro (2 stops) to go to Baixa (the old town).

Family-trip

We were 9 (5 adults, 4 teens) and we were there for 5 days. We all had enough place in this very light and friendly appartement. We enjoyed to have breakfast and even dinner together (dishwasher, jippi!!), it was spacious enough for us all. 9 persons 2 bathrooms - it is possible. Not far away there is an inexpensive supermarket. Try. In a 5minutes-walk you have a metro-station (Anjos) or you can walk within 20 minutes to the center.(Sometimes we walked to gain impressions.) Also the airport is very near. Even if you have to leave very early (4 in the morning as we did) it is no problem to get a taxi within 5 minutes. A few days later I've got back my deposit by bank wire. No problem.
I resume: the appartement is definitely like the online-representation (even better).

Pre-wedding relaxing weekend with the girls

Five of my girlfriends and I had a lovely long weekend here. The flat is lovely and much more spacious than the pictures indicate. Spacious bedrooms and a good shower, in fact there were two bathrooms/toilets. The lounge is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The flat is surrounded by lovely local bakeries/supermarkets which are good value for money. We bought in breakfast and ate on the lovely sunny balcony which was heaven.
Downstairs is a good cafe with cheap simple but good food, worth eating lunch/dinner here.
We had a great time in Lisbon and when I go back I would definately stay here again.
TIP: the Sheraton has a good spa and is a 15 walk away, they will do a special price of 25euro for half a day and it's well worth it. Have a drink on the 23rd floor at night and take in a great view of Lisbon.

Lovely Lisbon apartment

A group of six of us stayed for 4 nights and found the apartment very clean and comfortable. We really appreciated having luxuries such as a coffee machine and washing machine. Buses and the metro were handy and it was a pleasant walk downtown if you wanted. Not so good if you had a car because of lack of parking.
We would recommend this apartment.
Owner's Response: Actually, there is a public garage just under the building next door! you never asked, and never said you had a car, or I would have told you!!! sorry...
