Highly recommended tranquil, luxurious villa with pool, 20 min Dalaman airport.

Sitting in pin-drop peaceful countryside just a five minute drive from the pretty village of Dalyan, the silence is most definitely golden here. It’s just you. The odd local. And lashings of tranquility. Villa Kehribar itself is luxurious with a capital ‘L’. Built in a traditional style. You could quite easily wile away your entire holiday out here with sun loungers to hand and an al fresco dining table. You’ll also find an exquisite Turkish seating kursk hidden among the gorgeous green passionflowers, the perfect place to read a book or enjoy an afternoon snooze. Inside, everything is just as chic, with neutral caramel & cream décor, beautiful furnishings and tiled flooring. The spacious lounge is decked out with leather coffee-coloured sofas and a stone handcrafted fireplace.

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, opportunities for bird watching amongst the reed beds of Koycegiz Lake, visiting wonderful open air markets in Dalyan, Dalaman, Koycegiz and Fethiye. Swimming at Saragerme and Iztuzu beaches - the latter is famous as a breeding ground for the Caretta-Caretta turtles, and is off limits to people at night. Archaeology at historical sites of Kaunos (10 mins rowing ferry across the river) and Ephesus (3 hours drive away) is fascinating. Dining along the riverside at Dalyan facing the floodlit Lycian tombs of ancient Kaunos is a magical experience. The famous Oludeniz Lagoon about an hour and a half' drive away. A golf course is being constructed at Saragerme (completion expected sometime in 2008-9). The spectacular Sarsala Cove is only about 40 mins away.

"My husband and myself have just returned from an absolutely fantastic two weeks holiday at Kehribar Villa. The villa was an experience to remember, the décor, location and cleanliness was spot on and the pool and gardens were very clean and maintained to a very high standard. The area was superb with stunning scenery and we truly enjoyed a most relaxing holiday which was not too far from any entertainment if you required. We would certainly recommend Kehribar Villa and hopefully will be able to return again soon. Many thanks. "
