Set in the unspoilt heart of the Dachstein & Salzkammergut World Heritage Site, the apartment is suitable as a base for outdoor activities, or a romantic break for couples in summer or winter. You'll find yourself ideally placed for skiing, hiking, exploring the surrounding towns and villages, or just relaxing in the beautiful scenery. The spacious main room of the apartment and the balcony are south facing with extensive views across the spectacular Gosau valley to the nearby Dachstein mountains. Situated within the Sport Hotel, our guests can take advantage of the wonderful facilities, including free use of the swimming pool and sauna. The hotel has a full restaurant and bar, or you can make use of the apartment's kitchen area to stay in and cook for yourself. A door leads from the room onto our private balcony. In summer balcony furniture is supplied. Sitting on the balcony the sounds of the cowbells and distant church bells create a relaxing and memorable atmosphere.

Ski details

In winter there are facilities in the building for storing skies and boots. A bus service comes to the hotel to take skiers to and from the ski slopes, 5 and 10 minutes away. Two express covered ski lifts take you to the top of the slopes from where many other ski runs start. It is possible to ski right back to the bottom of the ski lifts. An extensive range of ski equipment can be hired. Ski passes can be purchase there. As well as skiing there are 40 kilometres of Langlau (cross-country tracks) throughout the valley floor. These tracks are carefully maintained by state of the art equipment. Maps showing the routes are available and they are also on notice boards placed along the routes. Langlau skies and boots can be hired. There is ski school there which offers group or private lessons for all types of skiing and snowboarding. Wide walking tracks in the snow are maintained throughout the valley allowing wonderful walking through the magnificent scenery.
