Ski and Snowboard:
Morzine - Avoriaz is part of the Portes Du Soleil which is the largest linked ski area in the world, and is made up of twelve French and Swiss resorts. It offers 650 km of piste in the winter, as well as lift access to over 380km of marked mountain bike and hiking trails in the summer. Climbing from 1000 to 2466m, between France and Switzerland, its 204 ski lifts will take you up to 279 slopes that interconnect the 12 resorts ... all accessible with a single ski pass! The resorts: France - Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Chatel, St Jean d'Aulps, Abondance, La Chapelle d'Abondance. Switzerland - Champery, Les Crosets, Morgins, Champoussin, Torgon. Our accommodation offers a fully equipped tech workshop and heated boot racks so you never go up with wet boots. SNOWBOARDING - For the snowboarders, there are four snowboard parks, each of them offering something different, and kitted with jumps for all standards. For those looking for long pistes there are runs up to 7km long.
Mountain Biking:
Morzine, Les Get and Avoriaz are part of the Portes du Soleil and offer some of the best mountain biking in the world. It's linked lift system allow mountain bikers to cover lots of different terrain across all levels of riding whilst having the stunning backdrop of the French Alps. Our apartments are fully kitted out for the serious mountain bikers. We have a secure garage with work stands, tools wheel truing stand ground anchors and pressure washer, so you can keep your bike in good working order. Morzine has much to offer in the summer time and there is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy, be it mountain biking, paragliding or more gentle activities.
MORZINE IN SUMMER - Morzine is a picturesque town, and is situated in the French Alpine region of the Haute-Savoie, about 1 hours drive from Geneva and so making for easy access from the UK. Morzine retains all the charm and culture of the farming town that it once was. The town is now bustling with a number of bars, cafés, restaurants and a variety of shops. Amongst the many facilities and activities that Morzine has to offer there are two cinemas which play English films, an Olympic-sized open air swimming pool, tennis courts, downhill tobogan run, mountain boarding, chairlifts, mountain bike routes, ice-skating rink plus much, much more.
