Extra beach facilities:
The property is a short walk to the beach and lightweight deckchairs, cool bag and beach towels are all provided for use by our guests. Those guests who enjoy snorkelling will see many species of fish and turtles, just off the beach at Crystal cove, in a clearly marked safe area.
A PADI dive master is on site and details of all other dive schools are available on request.
Boat trips, snorkelling with turtles etc are all available through the Dive master.
A wide variety of water sports are available on the beach at Crystal Cove, these sports include Jet Skis, sailing, Banana boat, Water skiing sail boarding etc.
Glass bottom boat, Parasailing, sea fishing and submarines are also available either off the beach or from Bridgetown.
Dining:
Barbados offers an enormous variety of dining options, to suit all tastes and pockets. The premier national dish is Flying fish - dipped in breadcrumbs and deep fried. Rice and peas and Macaroni Pie are popular side dishes.
Other activities:
Horse Riding, Horse Racing at the Garrison Savannah, Polo, Cricket at the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Bird watching, Hiking in the Scotland district is organised through the National Trust, Clay Pigeon and Pistol shooting, Bike tours, Safari tours in 4WD vehicles. The East coast is a world renowned Surfing area and golf is available nearby at Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland, both courses offer pay as you play. Bridgetown, Holetown and Speightstown all offer Tax free shopping at a wide variety of shops including Tiffanys, Colombian Emeralds and Diamonds International. Nightlife includes bars, nightclubs, rum shops, floor shows etc.
