A beautiful traditional 'trullo' farmhouse, Casa Castagno is located in the picturesque Puglian countryside, an undulating landscape of olive groves & vineyards, yet only ten minutes drive from the town of Alberobello with its charming streets of 'trulli', restaurants and bars. The sea & sandy beaches of the Adriatic coast are only 30 minutes away.The house has been renovated and lovingly restored to a very high standard, preserving the conical roofed trulli unique to Puglia, but incorporating modern design which creates a stylish, spacious interior. The limestone floors that run throughout the house extend to the terrace which is perfect for outside dining. Set in an acre of grounds and surrounded by fields, Casa Castagno is the ideal holiday location for families or groups of friends wanting to experience a luxury away from it all holiday. Casa Castagno has a stunning fitted kitchen, lounge, five bedrooms(3 en suite) all air conditioned & five bathrooms (1 in the pool house).

Casa Castagno is situated in a beautiful countryside location yet only 7 km form the town of Alberobello, a UNESCO site due to the 1500 + trulli to be found here. Restaurants and coffee bars are plentiful, good quality and very friendly. There are many good restaurants & as well as many shops to explore - ranging from good quality clothes shops through to traditional bakers, butchers etc. Within 30 minutes drive are many miles of safe, sandy beaches- the best of which is Torre Canne. The Grottoes of Catellana ara must to visist. These awe inspiring Karst caves featuring stalactites and stalagmites with underground limestone cavities and long tunnels that branch out 3km in length and 71 metres deep. The town of Martina Franca with its historic centre is 15 minutes drive & Ostuni, the white city, can be reached in 40 mninutes. Local markets selling wonderful local produce take place in various towns around the area on a daily basis & both Bari and Brindisi can be reached within an hour.
