Golf:
You can play golf at 'Golf des Volcans' at Orcines, 25 km north from us. It is set in another magic spot, at 900 meters of altitude, with the volcanoes, including the famous Puy de Dôme, overlooking the 18 holes golf course. 9 extra holes are under construction.Two other 18 holes and one 9 holes golf courses are within a 45 to 50 minutes drive from Saint Saturnin.
Mountains:
1) The 'Chaîne des Puys de Dôme' is only 15 to 20 kms northwest from us. With its unique sceneries, It is a great place for walking. Jumping with a deltaplan from the top of the Puy de Dôme at 1463 m of altitude is also a must for some passionates. You will find also two parks of attraction designed to let the whole family discover everything about volcanoes.
2) The 'Chaîne du Sancy' is only 30 km southwest away from us, with 'Puy de Sancy' dominating it at 1858 m of altitude.
It is a great place for hiking from spring to autumn and for wintersports -including regular skiing and nordic skiing-in the winter season. It has also many more touristic attraction.
Historical Monuments:
As an historical monument our place is opened to the visit in the summer time. Outside of this period, a private visit lead by the owners is generally made possible, if you stay in the guest rooms.
Many more historical monuments are opened to the visit in a circle of 50 km around Saint Saturnin: Romanesque churches, castles, gardens.
