The apartment, which has recently been fully refurbished, is set in the heart of Alghero’s historical centre in one of the old district’s main streets, via Roma lined with coral shops and the boutiques of famous Algerian fashion designer Antonio Marras. The large windows look over two beautiful squares. It is situated in a closed to traffic zone and can be reached on foot by parking the car outside the old town, only 50m away. No traffic noise only the buzz of people talking walking along the lively streets and the occasional horse and carriage taking tourists for a guided tour. The port is only 5 minutes away, from there you can catch the ferry to Neptune Grotto, a favorite tourist stop, or simply take a long walk along the seafront promenade that ends with the first town beaches. Three bedrooms overlooking the squares, a large kitchen diner, two bathrooms, one with bathtub and the other with shower. The apartment comes with TV sat, washing machine and the fridge.

Apartment Barceloneta is in one of the most beautiful historical center; place between two ancient squares, its windows facing three sides of the structure in which it is placed. At about 3 minutes walking we reach the touristic harbor, where you can rent any medium (bicycles, scooters, cars) to reach the first beaches (about 10 minutes). Also about 100 meters from the path reaches the typical city market where you can buy fresh fish and local cheeses. From walk you can visit the whole history of Alghero, given the strategic location of the house: Churches, the bastions Marco Polo (on which sit the most beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea) bastions Magellan, Bastions Pigafetta then Dante promenade or the new promenade busquet towards the beaches or take boats to Capo Caccia to visit the famous Neptune caves. Also in the autumn and winter months the old town of Alghero becomes a destination for relaxation since the minor movement compared with the summer months.

I was really happy with my accommodation, the apartment it's self was clean spacious and well maintained the location was excellent in the heart of the old town but also only a few minutes away from the bus station.
I have recommended the apartment too friends of mine and if I was to return to Alghero I would stay in the same apartment.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Sardinia-staying in this spacious apartment.
Our family,ranging from 15 -55 years, all loved the location in the heart of the Old Town- so close to all the shops, restaurants etc as well as the harbour, beaches & other good sights.
The apartment is comfortable,clean & adequately equipped for 4-6 people.The owner was able to visit us & helped us with all our queries & tips for a most enjoyable time.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Appartment mitten in der Altstadt von Alghero. Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut ausgestattet.Der gesamte Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und wir können dieses Objekt wärmstens empfehlen.

Superb location in lively old Alghero

We spend Christmas in this fine apartment in the old centre of Alghero.
There was plenty of things to do and see and Xmas wasn't as boring as it normally is. In summer this place must be even more pleasant because you can spent more time outdoors. That's the only lack: a real living-room.
But I guess you will not miss it. The superb location compensates everything.
The apartment itself is o.k.: 2 bathrooms, good kitchen, fine beds.
For all: A location you must experience!

This property was very much as described. We appreciated its central location. To get to the bathrooms from any of the 3 bedrooms it was necessary to go through the kitchen. There was no microwave and the pans etc were passed their best. The people who met us were very pleasant. We would like to go back. Good value for money.
