This wonderfully converted pigeon tower and barn is set up for families and friends who are looking for the perfect self-catering cottage environment. The renovation was completed just two years ago and includes the most up to date underfloor heating, appliances and conveniences. The location is one of peace and quiet, while being in close proximity to a number of small historical market towns and vineyards. There is even an award-winning Vineyard that you can walk to and visit just 300 yards away. Near by there are tennis courts, canoeing and a swimming pool.

The Pigeonnier du Puy is situated in the heart of France’s making wine region, just 2km from the Bastide town of Monsegur. The countryside offers a patchwork of vineyards, fruit orchards and medieval towns making it beautiful to take in, whether you are canoeing, cycling or walking. The area is dotted with lakes where you may fish and sail. For those interested in a day trip to the ocean visit the amazing Dune de Pyla. Gironde is rich in history. If you are interested in 30 000 year old cave drawings go to Pair-non Pair; alternatively visit any number of the local medieval towns with stunning churches and imposing fortifications. Famous nearby historical towns include Bordeaux, Bergerac, St Emillion and Duras. There are plenty of opportunities to visit local vineyards in the surrounding area, or you can walk over to the neighboring vineyard just two hundred yards away and buy an award winning bottle at the Chateau de Tuilleries

  • The downstairs bathroom is on suite to the main bedroom and has a full bath with a large separate shower stall. There is a large linen closet and a large wall radiator for towel drying. The second bath room is situated on the second floor of the Pigeonnier. It has a shower stall and a west-facing window that looks out onto the neighboring hillside orchards. Both bathrooms feature strong shower pressure and are decorated with up to date tiles, cabinets and fixtures.

Pigeonnier Bedroom: The Pigeonier bedroom is situated at end of a beautiful staircase at the top of the pigeon tower. The bedroom with two full sized beds features spectacular views east and west of the Drot valley and it’s sunrise and sunset.
