Self catering apartment at Moliets, Atlantic coast for family & golf holidays

Recently decorated to a high standard this ground floor apartment in the pretty holiday village of Moliets et Maa has open views to an international golf course & private grounds with shared swimming pool. The beautiful white beaches of the Atlantic are 10 minutes walk and all amenities (shops, bars, restaurants) are 2 minutes walk. Perfect holiday location with the beach, golf, swimming & miles of cycle tracks through majestic pine forests of Les Landes leading to pretty villages, lakes and a nature reserve. The apartment is self catering and fully equipped for 6 people with an open plan kitchen/living room, leading to an enclosed terrace for dining. It sleeps 6 in a double bedroom, bunk beds in a sleeping alcove & a double sofa bed in the lounge. Designated parking & locked storage. Ideal for holidays all year in a beautiful area where the endless beaches meet the pine forests with lakes that have all kinds of water sports to try. Bike hire & surf schools locally.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of 30% non refundable is requested to secure a reservation.
    The balance of the rental price is requested 8 weeks before arrival.
    If the apartment is booked less than 8 weeks in advance the full amount is requested.
    Payment is by Paypal, sterling bank transfer or French cheques payable to M.EVANS
    2 copies of a contract will be sent to you with full directions to the apartment. We ask that you sign and return to us one of the contracts. A security deposit of 250 euros is required 3 weeks before the rental period. Once received the apartment key will be sent to you. The security deposit is returned after the apartment has been checked for damage and the key returned. Cleaning is charged at 20€ per hour if necessary.
    Long winter lets available for 400€ a month plus electricity.
  • All charges are included in the rental price but there is a charge for heating costs for winter bookings.
    Longer term lets from October to May will be considered from 400€ per month.

Recently renovated with an open plan living area & fitted kitchen with all you need to rustle up meals. The apartment is light & airy, south facing with full width patio doors to the dining area & onto the gardens. The dining area is in an enclosed terrace with full width double glazed doors allowing you to eat here year round. The flat screen TV has a DVD player with USB access, French free TNT channels. There is a designated parking space & access to a locked storage area in the basement for your bikes, golf clubs & surf boards. You can also secure your bike outside the apartment. Electric heaters allow year round rental. The swimming pool is open May to late October. The private grounds for the residence have areas for games to be played. Garden furniture is provided if you want to eat outside.

Golf holidays: The apartment is situated beside the 17th hole of the prestigious golf course at Moliets. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this is one of France's top golf courses and is set amongst the beautiful pine forests with some of the holes beside the beach. It has an international reputation and holds many important championships. There is also a 9 hole golf course and 2 practice ranges. The mild climate make golfing holidays here possible all year. There are sessions on Sunday afternoons for novices to try golf free of charge and each Wednesday there are competitions that the more experienced can take part in. With 14 tennis courts, covered and open air, it really has something for everyone. You can book golf or tennis lessons for all the family to learn or to improve your preferred game. All golf equipment and golf buggies can be hired. Golf equipment can be stored in the locked communal storage area under the apartment.

Children welcome, longer term lets can be negotiated.

Golf:

The golf course at Moliets is one of the best in France.It lies along the sea and through the forests giving a challenging course with wonderful scenery. There is an 18 and 9 hole course with a great club house. The apartment has views to the 17th hole. Wonderful apartment near the beach

I stayed in this super apartment for a week with my family. We had a great time, the apartment is very well equipped and loved that we could eat outside and access the swimming pool so easily. The beach is fantastic and we all enjoyed the body surfing. We cycled a lot around the area on the cycle tracks which are great for families and loved the village of Moliets. Will be going back to this apartment again.

Très bel appartement bien situé dans une belle résidence en bordure du golf et pas loin des commerces et de la plage.
Appartement très propre et super bien équipé (super TV 20 chaînes, DVD, radio, vitrocéramique, lave linge, fer + planche à repasser, vaisselle suffisante, terrasse couverte et refermable (bien pour intimité), belle piscine pas trop surpeuplée, .....etc

Propriétaire sérieux et attentif

Non fumeur et pas d'animaux = propreté nickel!

A nice apartment at the Atlantic coast

A very well maintained apartment 800 meters from the ocean. It is small but cosy and to be honest we expected it to be even smaller. So it was a nice surprise. The apartment block has a very good swiming pool which can be seen from the back of the apartment, very clean and good for both kids and adults. The ocean front is full of restaurants and cafes. The village is only a few minutes drive and has a few shops.

There is a bike hire not far from the apartment. There is a very nice bike path going from Leon to Soustons. We really enjoyed cycling there. A boat trip along Courant d'Huchet is also highly recommended.

Great apartment for beach holidays

We stayed in this apartment and had a wonderful holiday, my daughter loved the beach. The swimming pool for the apartment is fantastic and we all spent many a happy hour in and out of the water. The apartment itself is light and bright and everything provided for self catering. Highly recommend it. We did lots of cycling and walking and it is very safe for youngsters. We don't play golf but the course looks good and we enjoyed watching people play from the apartment.

What a smashing location with a blend of a quiet a quarter and a more lively area with live music played in the square next to the beach entrance every night! Plenty of places to eat; two supermarkets and lovely pattiseries. The beach was always spotless and plenty of room. Excellent lifeguard attendants who were ever watchfull. Great for surfing or body boarding.
The apartment itself was some 800 metres from the livelier part but had a square with a couple of nice places to eat within 150 metres. This was also the site for a market on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday evening and Saturday. Lovely veg, cheeses, artisan jewellery etc.
The pool was never crowded and was very clean. The aprtment was spotless and had everything you needed to self cater. Nicely decorated and recently refurbished in a quiet location - very good!
If you don't want to hear much English spoken both from other holiday makers or the locals and want to brush up on your French then Moliets is the place to head for! Th e local people were friendly and helpful.
All in all a most pleasurable time - well recommended.
