Summer holiday rental, private villa from 700 century. Dependence ( 150 m² - 10 guests ): The villa is on the ground floor and has 4 double bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is very spacious and is equipped with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The kitchen is in the living room, and it is very big with a large table suited for 16 persons and all the stove and utensils. There is a three bathrooms with bathtub and shower. Moreover you can have a nice dinner on the veranda. The villa offers you a spectacular view over the Val d'Arbia. Decoration is in typical Tuscan style, with antique furniture from the 19th century. Our proposal is a suggestive vacation in our small piece of paradise to enjoy at full the peace and quiet of the Tuscan countryside. The estate, located up on a hill ( 420 Mt of altitude ) with a splendid panorama and encircled by forests, has the comfort of an asphalted road of access and within 5 km of distance you can reach the charming medieval village of murlo

Apartment Palazzina ( 100 m² - 4/6 persone ): Located on the ground floor of the villa, the apartment is certainly more traditional and rich in history. The splendid fireplace, dating back to 1600, recall atmospheres that bring us back in time and emotions that only in true places like this can still live. It’s enjoys a beautiful view on the pool and on the beautiful valley that surrounds it. The furniture dates back to 1900. It has two separated double bedrooms, a large hall with the possibility of a sofa bed, a large bathroom with a shower and double sinks. The very spacious kitchen is equipped with pots and dishes, refrigerator and television. Ceilings are restored keep the beams, old floor ceramic, typical of luxury residences of that area

For families, our farmhouse, is an ideal place, all the apartments are located near the pool and near all the other facilities and activities which are all at your disposal throughout the day. What is more pleasant than having a good meal outside with friends. Therefore we put a large and well equiped barbecue place at your disposal. We also organize in the evenings, events where you will be able to enjoy typical and delicious culinary specialities, have fun and find new friends. We organize also trips and excursions to the nearby hills, forests and rivers where you will admire the beauties of the Tuscan countryside. It is also possible to do this excursions later in the evening in order to discover nature and animals by night. Autumn in Tuscany is a season rich in colors and specially rich of funghi, type of mushroom, which forests are plenty of at that time of the year and are an essential part of the typical Tuscan cuisine. Guests will enjoy relaxing baths in the swimming pool.

La Palazzina, which origins date back to the 18th century, features 6 well-appointed apartments in a fascinating context. A swimming pool, a children playground and a park are some of the services on offer for guests.

One week in dipendenza (June)

We stayed at this property for 10 days in June 2008. We had a 'flexible' family with my parents 80+, my two sons (20+) with some of thier frieds during part of the time. We stayed in farmhouse which had 4 bedrooms, 1 bath and 1 Shower room. The dining rooms is extremely large and even with up to 10 people we rattled around a bit. The farmhouse is very unique although some aspects are a bit querky. There is a road that run adjacent to the house, altough this is generally quiet.

The property was well prepared, and the grounds/swimming pool was cleaned regularly. (it was just a pity that the weather was a bit un seasonal when we were there so we were unable to make full use of the facilities). From the pool there is only countryside for as far as the eye can see.

This property is not suitable for the elderly and anyone with mobility problems.(very dodgy stairs). This may not apply to other appartments on this site.

A car is a must. Getting there the directions are clear but there are several villages containing the name 'murlo' so you can get confused. Access to any shops/facilities is at least 4/5 miles away. Siena is about 25-30 minutes by car.

The owner(s) where very helpful and provided local information when requested. The also speak good english.

We were offered any tuscan evening meal on one evening for 20euro per person (I think). The have a selection of locally produced oil,cheese,honey, wine available for sale.

There are a number of other smaller apparments on the site, which I do not have any information for. These did not overlook or interfere with our holiday in any way.

Booking arrangements were very flexible.

I would certainly recommend this property to friends.

I'm from Italy but I'm living in london, since three years I never come back in Italy.
We choise La Palazzina for our holiday and we are wery enjoyed to our stay, I felt like at home I would just like to say how much we enjoyed staying once again in the Val di merse. The weather was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the two meals we had at La Palazzina. Please pass on again my compliments to your wife whose cooking is superb.

I was sorry to miss coming to see you on Friday evening but the thunder storm and packing got in the way! We are now back in a cold and windy England facing the prospect of a trip to a colder wetter ane windier Irealand tomorrow for a Congress.

My best regards to everyone who helped to look after us

A beautiful place to stay.
The location it's marvellous, the poll was always very clean and quite.
The apartament it's perfect, very confortable with a wonderfully landscape.
The owners are very helpfull
We are very satisfaction of our holiday in La Palazzina and hope to comeback soon.
