Set between the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini Mountains, a Two-Bedroomed Self Catering Apartment, situated in a quiet rural setting overlooking the beautiful Marche countryside. The apartment has been completely restored in the traditional manner, with wooden beams, shutters and terracotta floors throughout. It is attached to the English owners 200 year old farmhouse, but has its own entrance and seating areas and offers seclusion and privacy to its guests. The farmhouse has 2 acres of land with olive and fruit trees, guests are welcome to walk in the grounds and in season enjoy the produce. The owners produce their own olive oil. The nearest village, Monte Vidon Corrado, is 10 minutes walk away and offers a restaurant, two local bars, supermarket, chemist and butcher, most shopping needs can be found there. This is the ideal holiday retreat for guests to experience the real Italy away from the tourist crowds, and to enjoy the hospitality of the local people.

La Mimosa is located midway between the mountains and the sea. A 40 minute drive will bring you to the Adriatic coast where there are miles and miles of long sandy beaches with numerous holiday resorts where Italian families take their vacations. La Mimosa is also a similar distance from the mountains of the Sibillini National Park. The mountains tower to almost 8,000 feet but there is plenty of excellent walking of all grades , as well as a number of roads that provide some spectacular drives. In between the mountains and the sea there are green, rolling hills studded with numerous beautiful, perfectly preserved medieval hilltop towns . Within easy reach are the larger, historic towns of Macerata , Fermo and Ascoli Piceno, each with their share of architectural, historic and artistic treasures. There are also plenty of excellent country restaurants serving traditional Marchigiano cuisine. Opportunities for discount designer label shopping.

Notes: The 2-bedroom apartment is in a one-storey annexe attached to the main house, that has recently been restored in the traditional style. It has its own private entrance and is completely self-contained. A terrace and garden area on 2 sides of the building is for the sole use of the apartments occupants and enjoys beautiful views over the surrounding countryside, and to the old hilltop town of Montegiorgio in the distance. The apartment has gas central-heating and so is suitable for use all year round. A Welcome Pack is provided so that you can enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine on your arrival. The owners are resident in the main building and are on hand should you have any problems or need any information or advice, however you can be assured that your privacy will be respected. N.B Whilst smoking is not permitted in the apartment guests make smoke on the terrace.
