Le Manoir de Kerroc'h - 17th Century Manor House in peaceful village - 3 luxury houses, 10x5m heated swimming pool with retractable roof, secluded landscape gardens and children's play area. 3 km from sandy beaches, fishing ports and estuaries. Exceptionally mild micro climate. Gated parking area leading to secure walled garden. Garden furniture with BBQ. La Fontaine and La Roseraie – each sleeps 10: 3 double bedrooms (one en-suite) and one larger with 4 single beds. Large living/dining rooms with traditional Breton fireplace, wood burning stove, satellite TV, CD player. Well-equipped kitchens . These two houses combine for groups up to 20 and are perfect for large parties. La Forge – sleeps 6: single level, 3 bedrooms (one en-suite), one bathroom and large sunny open plan living/dining/kitchen opening onto private terrace. Equipped as large houses. All houses are south facing, beamed throughout, with waxed terracotta floors and traditional Breton furniture.

It has been converted from the original forge and stable building into a comfortable house. Its original walls and beams are exposed throughout, giving a traditional feel to the house. A large wide patio door opens onto a gravelled private terrace and the gardens. With its three double bedrooms and two bathrooms (shower) this house on one floor can accommodate six people.

Spent 2 weeks here Aug 2009 with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 granddaughters aged 10 and 12. Beautiful place!! Great for kids of all ages.
Accommodation what we expected from info given, very clean, property and pool well maintained. Pool superb - especially being able to swim with cover on - girls loved it.!! Philippe very helpful but not intrusive.
Good beach within walking distance if not carrying too much stuff - otherwise short drive. Reasonable walk, easy bike ride to bakery for good croissants etc. Plenty of good local walks and interesting places to visit within easy driving distance.
Overall good value and would definitely recommend this for family holidays and would be great for large parties. T

Le Manoir 'The Forge'

We really enjoyed our two weeks at The Forge in September 2008. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the sea from the property and join the coastal path which was very pretty. The property is very close to little coves and ports where you can enjoy the food and drink and explore without having to drive very far. The swimming pool was always kept very clean but could have been a little warmer. The own was very helpful with suggestions as to what to see and do. The garden was pretty and we used the BBQ several nights. The property was clean and well maintained and the owner visited most days to carry gardening or other maitenance jobs. We would recommend this property to friends. We had a very restful, relaxing time with plenty of walks for our two small dogs to enjoy near the house.
