The three bed two bathroom townhouse is on a private gated development, and an ideal all year round self catering holiday rental. It has three large swimming pools (one of which is heated in spring/winter).The house is decorated in a contemporary style with three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a private balcony and en suite. The two downstairs bedrooms have twin beds and all the rooms have fitted cupboards and central heating. The kitchen is modern, fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine and dryer. The split level lounge/dining room is bright and airy with a TV and DVD player. The patio is west facing for the evening sun and has loungers, reclining chairs and a gas barbecue. The Vila Dos Princeps development at Praia del Rey minutes from the beach, the tennis courts, the award winning golf course and five star Marriott Hotel with spa. Praia del Rey is under an hour from Lisbon and near the medieval town of Obidos.

Extra information

Bath towels and linen are included. Maid service is twice a week for an hour, on day 2 and 4. Bedlinen is changed once a week. Daily cleaning can be arranged upon request. The resort has its own laundry service if required There is an extra charge for picking up the house keys out of hours. The sea at Praia del Rey and Peniche has strong currents and so does the Obidos lagoon (which is tidal). Please be careful when swimming in these waters.

Facilities

There is a Marriott hotel and spa on site with restaurants. The golf course is in the top twenty in Europe, you need a handicap to play on it, or a certificate of competence from the golf Pro there. There are golf package deals on offer at Praia Del Rey, but it is often cheaper to shop around on the internet for better deals. There is a small supermarket on site, the nearest big supermarkets are in Peniche and on the way to Obidos.

Sight seeing and leisure activities

The bustling capital city of Lisbon is under an hour away. The medieval walled town of Obidos with its cobbled streets is about ten minutes. The beach at Praia del Rey is under five minutes from the house, while the skiing and surfing beaches of Baleal and Peniche are ten minutes away. There is an aqua park at the fishing port of Peniche and a go karting track at Bombarral (twenty mins).
