This superb modern villa, built in the traditional Portuguese style is an ideal family villa with two patios, and a large hedged private garden, safe and suitable for children. It enjoys unspoilt views over the valley of cork oak woods. There is a large swimming pool, with inbuilt shallow area, and a tennis court, shared by the other 7 villas on this rural site. The villa itself sleeps 7 and is attractively furnished with locally made furniture. It has a large airy living room with a dining area and adjoining kitchen. The living room is equipped with a TV and DVD player and has French doors leading out to the patio and barbecue area. There is also a single sofa bed. The kitchen is fitted with a granite work surface, and is well equipped with four ringed stove and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. There are three bedrooms, one double and two twin-beds. There is one bathroom and one shower room, each with toilet and wash basin.

Nearest Airport: Faro at 80 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 6.0 Miles

The villa is situated in superb rural location, with footpaths through a large valley of cork oaks and wild flowers. The local protected coastline of the Costa Vincentina National Park has many beautiful sandy coves, and also large stretches of dune fringed beaches. These are just 15 minutes away by car. Some beaches are suitable for surfing, and body boarding whilst others are ideal for families with smaller children. Milfontes is a thriving Portuguese seaside resort. It has an old centre, pleasant shops, lively cafes and superb restaurants specializing in local dishes of fresh fish and black pork. There are no High rise developments in this unspoilt location. You will get a taste of the 'real' Portugal and its relaxed way of life. An easy day trip will take you to the busier beaches of the Algarve. A 30 minute drive could take you to the Monchique Mountains, and to many historic towns, unchanged for centuries. Odemira, 2 miles from the villa has several large supermarkets.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 20% deposit is required to confirm booking with full payment 6 weeks prior to arrival. We accept payment in Sterling or Euros. Euros can be paid directly into our French bank account, details on request. Check out time is 10.30am and check-in time is from 5pm. Renters arriving earlier than this are welcome to use the pool and outdoor seating whilst the Villa is being prepared for your stay.
    Outside the High Season there may be some flexibility with changeover days.
    We also require a deposit of £160/200euros to be paid at the lime of booking. This will be returned to you by post after the holiday, and inspection of the villa. Please inform the site staff of any breakages.
