Perfect for Collioure sea, art and sun lovers, located just behind the sea-front and opening on a large square with trees. Large 40 m2 studio with separate bathroom and kitchen, overlooking the large square with a balcony ideal for romantic meals in the evening of breakfast in the sunshine. Right in the city old center, just a few meters away from the beach. Ideal for a couple but can fit easily a couple plus a child.

There is no need to describe Collioure : ancient fishing village, the spot was picked by numerous artists and painters such as Matisse, Derain or Picasso in search of true colours, sunlight and good friends. Collioure remains a very busy touristic place in the summer season (July - August) so calm lovers will particularly enjoy coming down from September till the end of June (the house is open all year long and is equipped with a very good central heating system and a real fire-place). Wine tasting almost everywhere, terrace shaped vineyards, good food and jazz band playing every Friday on the main square. Try la Criée in Por-Vendres for sea-food and the 5ème Péché in Collioure for its perfect world fusion style with the perfect wine to go along.

This well equipped apartment is centrally located in bustling Collioure, overlooking a small, attractive square with restaurants, bars and shops. There are grocery shops within a minute's walk, and the seafront is literally around the corner. The apartment has effective double glazing to help with any late night noise from the square. The owners were most conscientious, and keen to help in any way to make our stay comfortable.On the down side, parking in the town is a problem as it is a popular tourist destination during the summer and at weekends especially, and no cars are allowed near the apartment after 11am. However, there is a train service from Perpignon, and a car is not essential. The apartment was also a little difficult to locate, so ask for specific directions. I would definitely recomend this property to friends.
